"Psssh" Cherry didn't seem to like the idea of a citizen report, it would've been cooler to approach the guard in person from her point of view. But it was Cole who had experienced the situation, not her, and he thought it was best to file a report. "Well yeah, they probably should be made aware, but if we track down that thing and bring it down, maybe the Guard will notice us!" She was probably getting over her head here but that didn't stop Cherry, "I mean, what if it's super important? If we take it down ourselves and solve it, there'll be no way we can't get recognized and --" She paused, rubbing an arm behind her head, "Sorry, I know getting into the Guard isn't something you want, still tryna find ways in myself though.." She seemed a little disheartened about this, but people tend to when trying at something for a while, and getting nowhere.

"Just like huh??" Cherry questioned on what Cole mumbled, "Mmmm... Kinda odd that the thing had a soul shaped hole AND yellow markings, could it be one of the things that's supposed to hold the souls? I've never really seen them myself, they could look like anything, kinda weird that it.. You know, could move on its own, but-" She put a finger to her lips. "If so, why didn't it come into the chamber after June? The yellow soul human? Couldn't it find her? I mean, she was kind of hard to miss, if it could pick up on your soul, a human one shouldn't be that hard to find. I guess the CORE quakes scared it or something but-" More pondering, "Fear and being scared are emotions that only sentient things can have, right? " She rubbed her forehead, "This is a lotta thinkin..." But then gave a fist pump, "But I like where this is going! I smell adventure Cole!" Aaaand there's another friendly shoulder punch, except she missed the first one out of excitement, and went back for seconds, "We have to go find that thing and learn more, what do you think?"

Cherry folded her arms and glanced aside, "Mmmff, I dunnooooooo, I guess?" She then smiled though, "Kidding, of course she has some things that are kinda admirable, but so do you yanno"

"I know, I know, sorry, aheheh, Continue" Cherry would rub a paw behind her head a little before her full focus was back on Cole again as he continued his story.
Not big, kinda lame, a soul shaped hole, black, white and yellow?
Cherry could tell by the way he told the story, that it was rather serious, so she'd of course, take it serious as well. Pondering as Cole continued.
She seemed a little aggrivated at hearing it had tried to attack him, but that was probably just because, he was her best friend, and nobody beats up Cole but her! Right? She seemed to ease up when she heard he knocked it over a lot and it never landed a hit on Cole. "Psssh it ran off? What a wimp! " She blew a raspberry, she would've added that she'd never run from a fight against a dweeb like Cole, but she was doing her best to keep it serious for him.
"Huh, well, that is pretty interesting" She put a finger to her lips, "You never went after it or anything? Did you see which way it went? Maybe you and I could go looking for it!" She gave an eager toothy grin, "Funny you should mention it had a soul shaped hole though, I was in the Core area that day trying to help Undyne and the others, and uhhh" She looked aside, "Well there was one of the six human souls there, she was really mad at us, the King and Undyne especially and stuff-- It's a long story, but, you know, who would be making stuff to hold souls?" She thought harder, "I think we should try n find it"

"We sound alike? Huh" Cherry pondered a moment, but, you can tend to start to sound like someone if you are around them long enough, right? He was somewhat right on the colours, and Cinnamon did have a similar pink to her, except, Cherry was all pink, but hey, who knew how genetics worked right?
Cherry snorted before bursting into laughter at Cole's burn on Cinder, "She was too busy admiring herself at school to learn past 5"

Her laughter died down a little bit but kinda rose again when he punched her back, it seemed to get her a bit more pumped too, and as did his story!
Cherry fell fully silent as Cole began to speak, informing her of what went on while she was at the Core. She raised an eyebrow hearing he followed after the panicked Librarian, but was glad to hear Cole had stopped them before they got too far, the more he continued his story, the more into it she got, "Waiting for you? What was? What was there Cole!" She asked, her voice raising a bit in her eagerness, "Was it big? Was it scary? Did it try to eat you? NO WAIT just continue!" She waved her paws before quickly moving them behind her back and zipping her lip, "Continue~" She smiled, clearly still as eager as ever to hear what came next.

"Yeah she's always a bit busy isn't she? Even I'm not always sure with what exactly though" She'd place a clawed finger to her lips for a moment before looking back to Yanezi. "Heheh, Yeah I know-- Thanks though Yan, it means a lot to me. I sure will~!" She smiled at the feline, giggling lightly at Yanezi's little purr. While the events leading up to coming here with Cole and Gust weren't so nice, it sure was wonderful to be here in such pleasant company. The sodashark was already feeling much better about things and made a mental note to make sure that she made it up to Cinnamon later for how she acted earlier.

Cherry's fishy ears flattened back a bit as her blush grew even more noticeable "I mean- Yeah but!-" She let off a grunt of a noise while side glancing to Gust. Yanezi's teasing was clearly getting to the catshark and rather quick at that! "_{Yan Yaaaaaaaaan}" She'd huff lightly while sticking out her lower lip slightly. Again though the cat's tail swishing would catch Cherry's attention as it moved. Even causing for her own tail to try and mimic the same movements regardless that it was quite a different tail to Yanzei's.

When the drinks came out to their table Cherry would smile and watch as the feline set them out to the others first, laughing lightly at how Gust got a cherry soda. "Pffft Heheheh!" She'd wink at Yanezi knowing exactly why he'd been given that particular drink.
Eventually though the cat would reach her with the decorated hot cocoa, Cherry already started going red from the moment Yanezi leaned in but what she said after made the poor catshark a very obvious cherry red in the face, even making that light fizzing noise return again with the purr and brush of her tail tip against one of her side fins. "I- Uh- Bbbb- Hghhgjghfg" She stammered, gripping her hands onto the edge of the table from where she was sitting for a few moments before letting out a breath, "Aheheh! Uh- Mmf- Thanks Yan Yan!" Two could play at that game though, right? "I'll be sure to savour every drop then~" She'd 'purr' back as she closed her eyes and brought the decorated drink to her lips, opening an eye to watch Yanezi head back. Cats.

She sat back upright and looked rather eager at the cinnamon rolls she received though, she'd always loved how they made them here! And they where still nice and warm too~
When her phone gave a light buzz in one of her shorts' pockets though, Cherry would glance down as she slipped it out to take a look at the message. It was from none other then Yanezi herself which would make Cherry smile at first. As she read on her smile would soften, she truly was grateful for all the friends she had and Yanezi was no exception to that.

[Hey Yan Yan, thanks for messaging me. ❤ Honestly a movie sometime sounds great! I'd be happy to talk to you about stuff then]
Cherry paused for a moment in her text to ponder something, whatever it was or whomever it was that she was thinking about both made her pout a little bit and smile.
[I have another girl friend I'd also like to talk to about it if that's okay also? I can organize to meet with her another time if you'd prefer this to be just a hangout for us, she works alot though and it'd be nice to get her out more though either way. Miss her a bit. So if it's cool with you, could I extend the offer of movies to Cinder as well? Either way, movies and talk sounds great and I'd love to, thank you for the concern, bit confused with all that's going on right now, so hopefully I can explain later.]
With the message done and sent to Yanezi, she'd slip her phone quickly back into the side pocket of her shorts. Feeling a bit better with the thought of getting to hang out with Yanezi and Cinder at some point or another on her mind.

"You're welcome, Heeheh!" Fia's bubbly personality was honestly a bit contagious, so her fit of giggles carried across to the sodashark, making her also giggle in turn. "How exciting though! The little one has got one of the best families I know in the whole Underground though~" The happy buzz at the table was a wonderful feeling, Cherry did wish that Cinnamon had come too so that she could be sharing that happy buzz, but it was a fair walk home and back and she was treating Cole and Gust anyway, she'd just have to make it up to her mother later if she didn't show.

Cole's 'wink' and comment got that blush flaring back up again and it made her bite her lower lip for a few seconds-- Was that sweat?- "I-I dunno whatcha talkin about! Two? Pffft What two??" Her eyes did not once go directly to Cole as she stammered that out. She did however lean over a bit closer to him and whisper, "Don't you dare tell Cinder about either boyo" Before doing the 'I've got my eyes on you' motion with her hands.

The way her best friend handled the phone that had the image Fia was sent though was a bit of a surprise. Cherry would raise her hands lightly as Cole looked ready to cry- Not only that but even that split second of heat caught Cherry's attention. Seeing him close to tears made her want to go in for a hug, not that the tears where for any sort of bad reason, but she let Fia go in first since she was actually related to him and seemed to have the same idea. Instead she opted to give him a gentle pat on the back and a light shoulder squeeze. "She's got one of the the coolest Uncles around, let's face it" Who was the coolest Uncle? UnCole of course!

Cherry would smile and take Luis' offered hand, shaking it gently before nodding with excitement "Yeah that's me! Heheh!" She seemed a bit unsure of what to do with herself at someone acknowledging an achievement of her's like that. Usually she was honored to be talking to others, not the other-way around. "The pleasure's all mine Luis!-" She flashed him a toothy grin before pausing a moment to add "Your hair looks really cool by the way!"

"Wh-what?" Cherry blinked, seemingly very surprised and confused at the answer Gust gave her. "Me? Princess? Are you sure the guy didn't just have his head in the clouds or something? Or that he'd gone a bit nuts or? Bit too many mushrooms?" She snorted a laugh before stopping, practically freezing up on the spot at the next part, "Wh.. What did you say?" The part about her mother knowing more and not just that but about her species missing and her 'Mum' knowing about it and not telling her, left Cherry looking hurt.
Cinnamon had lied to her if this was true. No wonder she's never looked like her 'mother'.

When Gust took the potion she'd look at him but her expression had changed. A hateful glare was what he got instead. "Yes" she answered angrily. Cherry was usually a hothead. But never was she so hateful.
Cole was out doing who knows what to the only other member of her species that she now knew. What if he knew of her blood family? Cherry loved the family she had, but she wanted to know! and her mother had kept things from her...

"I'm going after to Cole. That dillweed has answers I need. You deal with her. It's simple just." She let out an angered breath. Already trying to get back up the tunnel. "Take out the cork and put a few drops on her horn and forehead."

Cherry blinked at Gust when he explained there wasn't time to talk yet, they had to help Cinnamon. When he took the bunny from her arms however and ran off inside the shop. Cherry's surprsied face turned sour.
She glanced back to see that Cole had dragged the other shark monster off elsewhere, before storming back inside the shop after Gust.
When she got in, she slammed the door closed behind her and watched Gust look over the potion shelves, picking one at random before coming over to her.
She gave him the look.
"You are not using that one on my mother" She'd growl, snatching the bottle from him and setting it on the top of the counter by the door. Before returning to Gust. She raised an arm, her hands balled into fists, she looked like she was ready to punch him. To hit him for how he'd made her feel before.
But she didn't, she'd let out an angered sigh, before taking hold of one of his hands and leading him behind the counter. "We're not supposed to go down here. But she keeps the better healing and stronger potions down here. If we want to help Mumma, we have to go get one she used to give me all the time as a kid" She'd squeeze his hand lightly, going a little red in the cheeks as she lent down to move a mat on the ground behind the counter, before then pulling up a hidden latch door. "I'm.. I'm glad you came back Gust" She stammered softly. She still had that challenge with Cole to win, but she felt the time wasn't exactly right, right now.

"Let's go" She'd give him a little yank, before hugging onto him so that they both basically fell into the little slide hole that would lead them into quite an interesting room below. The walls where fully covered by shelves upon shelves, tighter shelves of that up stairs. Potions where everywhere you looked, all tagged in alphabetical order along the shelves. All the bottles where different shapes and sizes, different colours and had different quirks. How where they going to find the one they needed. The only other things in the room aside from the potions, was a small desk for ingredients, a bit pot in the center of the room for mixing the potions, and a couple of rather weird looking masks that where hung carefully in one corner of the room. The masks gave off the feeling of being watched.
"It's a small bottle, shaped like a heart, the potion colour is like a bright--" She caught herself staring at Gust's eyes, the room they where in had so many glowing colours and they where all reflecting in his eyes, along with doing the same with hers. Cherry blinked, she still had his hand in her's.
"Blue" She finally managed to get out.
His eyes where blue too.
"Uh" She swallowed and looked away. Her thoughts where everywhere at the moment. Cole had, had the wrong buttons pressed. Her mother was passed out. Gust was back. She wished Cole was here and not dealing with who ever that trashy monster was.
"Hey Gust?" She questioned, looking back to him. If Gust looked at her, he'd notice a small, heart shaped blue potion sitting on the shelf just behind her head.
"Who was that other monster?"

"I wanted to but I didn't wanna bring up bad memories, doofus, I'm not always rude" She huffed, before then folding her arms at the next part, "I don't know of any other monsters that're my kinda species let alone- HEY!" She pouted, reaching up and running a finger along her straw aft he'd mentioned it, "I'm not that short.." She'd grumble, "Mumma says she thinks I'll get taller soon, that'll mean I'll be taller then you, squirt" She stuck her tongue out, now neither were being very mature, but it was all friendly banter really. "Yeah you better be"

Cherry's fishy ears flattened back a little at Cole's reaction to 'Jelly tummy' "Pffft!! You know what I mean, when your tummy goes all weird cause of a certain someone and stuff-" It had only been seconds of her stopping pouting, before she was pouting again. She knew Cole knew what she had meant, but laughed regardless, she wasn't upset, just her usual, pouty self. She'd stand back up and would put her hands on her hips. "Damn it Cole, I've been tryna not do that for ages!" Another huff, "Not my fault Mumma fills home with goodies like jelly all the time" Explain herself as she might, it was still funny. "Psssh, yeah yeah laugh it up, I won't be doin it again though"
Eventually, she'd be smiling too, it was hard not to when her best friend was happy and laughing like he was, even when it was over pushing her buttons. "Awwww, well, hey, I know you're okay with that, but there's no harm in searching for that special monster sometimes, right? What about if we go for a walk around and have a little look? If we find someone, cool! If we don't no biggie, right? " She raised an eyebrow, a grin coming to her lips, "Or are ya too chicken? C'mon Cole~ It'll be a cake walk!-" She dropped her mischievous expression for a moment, realizing she had just done the thing again, before shaking her head. "I wanna go grab Mumma something nice too so may as well, I think she could use something nice after the stuff that happened today"

Cherry pulled that, 'I want to laugh but I'm trying not to' kind of face when Cole made flames to act as wiggling eyebrows. Because really, although it may have been a tease, it still made her want to laugh, plus, Cole looked silly with them.

Now it was Cherry's turn to listen, and that she did, watching Cole toss another rock before skipping it across the lake's surface. While listening, she'd look around and pick up another rock herself, running her fingers over it. He was right, as per usual, it hurt for Gust to leave, because she cared for him and as much as she didn't want to keep feeling hurt, she also didn't really want to stop caring for Gust either, deep down, she knew she couldn't stop caring, not fully.
She took in a deep breath and then let it out before throwing her second pebble, this time it skipped, although once, it was still better then her first one.
"He must've felt so alone, so scared.." She looked aside, "I wonder how young he was exactly when they left him behind"

"I hope you're right Cole, and you didn't hear it from me but- you tend to be. At least, when he's here, I know he'll be cared for" The cat shark would sit down at the river's bank, putting a paw into the water, before bringing it back out and focusing on forming a small water ball with all the water still left on her paw.
"I do, at least, I think I do, I mean, I'm gonna be up there with Undyne some day, I just know it!" She smiled lightly as the water actually started to form what she'd been wanting it to. "If you ever dated someone, huh?" She glanced back at Cole, "I'll remember that for whatever poor monster that ends up being" She snorted before laughing, "Just kiddin, I'm sure whomever that may end up bein is a very lucky monster-- They better be nice though, if anyone gives you trouble I'll beat em up~" She'd give a solo cheer as she punched through the water ball she made.
