The young prince looked down to his little hands thoughtfully as he listened to the wisdom and warmth of his mother’s voice attempt to soothe his worries. She did a pretty good job at it too and he smiled a little when it sounded like she was reassuring about to not worry about the skeletal Sentry, “Okay Mummy, I trust you. I’ll be sure to visit you as much as possible and I don’t think it’ll be that difficult to stay in touch!” the boy affirmed, as long as the goat mother answered her phone, that is.

Asriel looked between the two back on forth, both of whom had the confidence that Toriel would be able to make the trek home with little-to-no-trouble. Whilst he knew what his mother was capable of when push came to shove, the young monster couldn’t help but feel a twinge of worry. He blinked at the realisation, ‘This is a good thing…’ he reminded himself before finally nodding one last time and called out just as Toriel was leaving, “Please be careful Mummy.”

The goat monster followed Essurn as he was being escorted back to his father, whom was understandably weary after such an eventful night, “Y-yeah, we did and it took quite a bit of weight off of my shoulders, actually.” bleated the prince as he fell silent during the short exchange between the king and guard. Everything about both of his parents was just as he remembered them from all of those years and timelines ago and here he was, with a second chance – especially when the two of them, even throughout the trying times of tonight – were still supportive and reassuring of their son; whether or not they knew of his history as a perennial plant.

Naturally the boy didn’t resist the urge to hug his father but he was a little surprised to have been carried, “Oh-” he muttered meekly. It wasn’t necessarily a bad thing and he was quickly discovering that he quite liked it too – missed it even. While there was a long road ahead for the boy – and likely many others, right now he was just glad in this timeline things were starting to look up.
“You did? Really?” Asriel replied, more so as a surprised statement than a question as he clung to his father so readily, “No, I think it will be just fine as it is.”

A soft bleat-like giggle rippled out from the king’s son when he felt that loving and grateful touch. He may not understand why just yet but that little bit of hope which sparked beneath his bright red eyes filled Asriel with Determination.

Asriel watch the amethyst flames flicker and dance about his mother’s palms. Whilst the reflection of the flames could be subtly seen bouncing off of his eyes, the young prince was also reflecting with thoughts of his own. It was reassuring that even after everything, even after the times he had killed his own mother in some, previous timelines, his mother was still willing to be there for him. The young child’s mind found it remarkable and rather difficult to understand, even if he was fairly confident that she had no recollection of such tragedies; at least not first hand.

The kid would be lying to himself if he believed he wasn’t worried about who might decide to enlighten her on that.

He nodded, feeling more confident than before, “Yeah, that’s true. I know it’s going to take a while to get a while to get used to… having a body and feeling again… but I’d really like that. I’d like to be shown and reminded of what could have been rather than what I have seen time and time again.” Asriel affirmed before glancing off to the side nervously when she disagreed about Sans, “I-if you say so…”
There was another pause.
“Yeah… actually, there just might be a good chance that he’ll listen to you.” the prince stated, probably to reassure himself more than anything if he was honest, “I would really like to see you often Mummy, it doesn’t really matter where to me.”

Asriel’s ears flicked as he heard footsteps approaching them and he nodded, “I guess it is getting late…” he agreed softly before turning to the guard and the prince asserted, “Essurn, I want my mother to be escorted home so that she will be safe. I don’t really care who is with her, I just want her to be safe. Please see to it that something can be arranged but otherwise I think we’re done visiting the monument… unless the former queen has something to add?”
He then gave one fleeting glance back to Toriel, just in case there might be anything else.

The prince listened to his mother’s words carefully. It wasn’t something new for him to hear, but rather, it was something he needed to hear.

He needed guidance in this timeline.

To make a change; a change for the better rather than treating monsters like toys puppeted by a child’s imagination and all sorts of scenarios.

He may have had experienced many lifetimes and possibilities and gained all sorts of skills on how to fight or how to talk to people; but Asriel was still currently a child. A child overwhelmed by all these emotions and was yet to be mature enough on how to manage them properly. On top of that, he had been corrupted by power which had been thrusted upon him – a power of which he had yet to understand and manage properly at the time – and drove him through the seemingly endless possibilities through curiosity, the hunger for understanding, entertaining darker outcomes but most of all, through Determination to keep going. Never stopping in one place for long and taking as many turns as he possibly could.

He looked to his hands. They briefly sparked with static and caused for the fur on his hands to rise briefly; then followed by brief flickers of lime green flames. Asriel also needed to be taught how to manage his powers. He definitely knew how to fight, and he was pretty darn good at it, but it was also a drastic change from his limited abilities as a flower.

“I… I think you’re right Mummy.” the younger goat murmured before clenching his hands into fists, “I’m not sure if I could ask him to help me. He’ll laugh at me.”
Sure it sounded like an immature excuse, but he’s still young and needed to grow.

The prince then recounted in detail rather thoroughly about what had happened during the ‘Time-Stop’ in Hotland, starting from when he shouted with denial in retaliation to Papyrus’ anger, how time stopped except, as far as he was aware, only he and Sans were not affected, what Sans had said to him and what he had said to the skeleton before finally finishing with unfreezing time and how everything seemed to be in motion once again as if nothing had interfered.

“You’d be surprised.” Asriel piped up, “I mean, I understand that too. I’m just glad that you two hopefully won’t be fighting anymore.”
He then paused to look at the statue, “I sometimes came here to think – no matter what time of day or timeline. The music and ambience here is oddly… soothing.”

Asriel recounting on what happened during the Time-Stop found here.

"Well no, I wouldn't have apologised if I didn't get my soul and heart back." Asriel agreed, though somewhat still insistent, "But I still have... thoughts... thoughts I should not still be having; but at the same time I do not want to act on them. Part of the reason why I did those things was to see if I could feel, but now that I finally can and look back, it feels just awful. I can still feel a part of Flowey within my mind, prodding, urging, tempting... what should I do mummy?" Asriel pleaded with those big ruby-red eyes. The young prince truly wasn't sure what to do and if his mother was willing to still accept and love him, he very much needed her guidance.

The young prince plodded a few steps closer to hug his mother, fully embracing her warmth and softness; a protection from the world that only a mother could give. He listened to her word carefully, contemplating on them, but there were also parts he wasn't convinced of either. He looked down at the pendant which contained his frantically beating red soul before shaking his head, "No that's exactly the thing, I was in control of my actions and I actually enjoyed it. Craved it. Beckoned others to do the same. I don't understand how you can forgive me when I've done so much worse. I had so much power over everything and everyone - I still do... but I just don't know what to do about it. I don't know. What should I do?"

The younger goat went quiet for a moment, "... I've also just discovered that I can stop time." he confessed, frowning with worry.

"I did it at the Core when Papyrus was really, really angry at me... no body was aware of it - I don't think - except for Sans. The two of us were the only ones who were able to move and he spoke to me. Then later, time started flowing again. I don't even know how that happened - but it did! I wasn't even able to do that before when I was a flower. I'm scared, what if it happens again?" he bleated, hugging his mother tighter.

Hearing that she didn't hate his father did bring an obvious relief; his body grew less tense and more relaxed, he  looked up at her; a bit more hopeful, "You've missed him? Really? And you're willing to be friends and not fight anymore?" Asriel said in a hushed tone; he couldn't expect for them to fall in love all over again and be a family unit once more - even a large part of him wanted to - but if there was a chance that they could be civil with one another it did bring him some hope. Toriel would find that her son didn't resist her attempts of wiping away his tears in an oh so familiar way; from so long ago.

He still remembered.

Set after Part II - Fighting For Freedom

Shortly after the events at the Core, Asriel had stopped in front of the stone statue in Waterfall. He was carrying one of the umbrellas which were supplied to monsters and a thoughtful expression filled his eyes as he stared at the aged monument. The prince then placed his umbrella on the statue, listening to the music box play while the water dripping from the ceiling made his fur droop and grew heavier along with the weight he bore on his shoulders.
"Thank you, mummy," he said softly; voice just barely heard over the music whilst he continued to stare at the rock formation, "for still being supportive of me. Even after... everything."

Asriel covered his glowing red eyes with his hands and his stitched-together-soul, oddly enough, shivered with Determination.
"I did some things because I was curious, because I grew bored, because I wanted to see if I could feel something..." he continued with a sigh, "You've said that I'm was so brave even though combat is no foreign thing to me - in fact I'm really good at it. You also said for me to try my best to be good because you know I am but let's face it, how can I be when I am still that same monster who just messed with everything and everyone. I know I denied it to Papyrus but, the more I think about it, am I really that different? 'Flowey' is a dumb name I came up with to lure others into a false sense of security - after all, who would ever suspect a flower with a squeaky voice to be... a murderer?"

The goat turned around, looking up at Toriel as he wiped some tears from his eyes, "I don't understand. How am I a good boy? You left daddy after he killed six humans and he hated himself for it - be it directly by his hand or otherwise, but I have taken countless lives and I actually enjoyed it. Over. And over. And over. I even went as far as convincing others to do the same or completely break down another's psyche simply because I could. Why does he not earn your affections again but I instantly do?"

Asriel's bottom lip quivered as the boy dropped to his knees and sobbed, "Why do you still love me?"

As the large hand was raised to wipe away the tears, Asriel cupped it between his much smaller ones. To some credit, at least, the prince was able to find comfort in knowing that he was definitely feeling something when he was seeing his father like this.

It took off a lot of weight and worry off of his shoulders.

"Yeah, I don't think she would be in very good condition if she was hit by that thing."
he then looked to his and his father's hands with a frown, "I just wish it didn't take so long to summon those - and I didn't even know that they would be swords. I need to get better at that, I don't want for it to take that long next time; otherwise it might be too late next time."

When his parents were in close vicinity again Asriel grew tense; bracing himself for more shouting and already thinking of things to block it all out. However, much to his relief no such thing came. He then nodded about the importance of Alphys seeing him, "Yeah I know. Maybe she can find a better way than this rock thing. or at least more about it." he commented as he held the pendant encasing his soul in his hand. The prince then turned to his mother to listen to her. He was not only relieved that she wasn't acting so cold or harsh towards the king this time, but he was also proud of her too for it. Something like that isn't easy and was just happy to see his parents get along again; like a family.

Asriel then added to the both of them, "If we're going some place nicer, can we go to Waterfall? I feel like there's somewhere I gotta be before heading back home, since I don't know the next time I'll be able to go there."

((A/N: Responding all the way back from Reply #36. x.x RIP ))

Asriel frowned when the voice teased and didn't answer his question. It could be relating to the sounds of it; quite possibly something he has seen or done time and time again across the timelines?

He smiled at River Person and tilted his head slightly to the side, "I guess not, there are probably a few monsters who would have wondered about that too." he replied with a shrug, "Sure, that would be cool to know."

Hearing the the tale of June, Asriel wasn't entirely sure how to react or feel about the situation and largely kept his thoughts to himself. He was watching her reactions and side glancing at the monsters around him - particularly the ones involved - to see how they would react to the story as a whole. He should be feeling empathy, he should be feeling sad, but why wasn't he? Was he still getting used to his body and allow to feel for such things to catch up to him? Or had his countless, prior actions in the past had completely desensitize him?

The next thing which caught the young goat's attention was the bicker between his parents. Hearing Toriel yell and seeing that fiery look behind Asgore's eyes as they squabbled made the boy close his eyes, covered his ears and filled him with Determination.

He did, however, open his eyes again and lowered his hands when he felt his mother's hand on his head and heard her speak about the day he had died the first time. Why he had returned to the surface, how he had absorbed Chara's soul and Chara themselves... hearing how much his mother cared for him when he passed - and still hadn't changed now, filled Asriel with Determination.

His eyes then flickered at his father, an unreadable expression washed over the boy as he referred to June as an echo, 'Does that make me an echo too? Though I feel very much alive... I think?' he thought to himself. The prince wasn't sure what to think about going back to New Home but the proposition of being a family again, despite their differences, did cause for a small smile to stretch on his face; filling him with hope and Determination.

Next thing he know, Asriel found himself staring at Papyrus has he had added the extra weight of gravity over his father and Undyne. His expression would have still been as blank as a slate if it were not for the raised brow. This Papyrus was different to all the ones he remembered; he was growing, maturing, less naive and had more of a backbone to things.
'I remember how he had always been one of the better monsters to mess around with. How it had taken me a long time to get bored of him. Looks like this timeline is no different.'

Then that Mysterious being appeared again, making Asriel more alert than before as it became apparent that he was now speaking to all three members of the Dreemurr family; particularly when he had addressed his earlier thoughts. When finally asked the question, Asriel averted his gaze from his parents, "I don't know." he answered quietly; mulling over how he was so unsure how to feel, filled him with Determination.

Then all hell seemed to break loose, Austin took over the robot bull, the bull started attacking monsters, Sans was out of action, Undyne lost an arm and quite of them had responded in kind. Seeing how quickly they had rallied and reacted to the angered and vengeful brother filled Asriel with Determination. He squirmed a bit and managed to slip out from his mother's protective cuddle before she could run off - if she chose to run off - and he landed softly on the ground. Furrowing his brows in concentration he hand his hands out in front of him, as though he were holding an invisible ball.
"C'mon..." he murmured to himself as his frown deepened. Something white sparked and flickered between his hands before it faded away faster it could flicker into existence.
"Try again." Asriel quietly encouraged himself before biting his lower lip, "I've got to try. I can't give up. I am Determined!"

((A/N: Sorry for not responding to River and ??? adequately before, slipped my mind as I was responding to everything. >.< Here we go!))

'How does it feel?' his mind echoed as his ruby-red eyes looked all around him for the mysterious figure, only to find him to be always just be out of reach, 'What do you mean?'

The young prince offered little resistance to River Person when she asked to see the pendant - asides from keeping a few fingers around part of the pendant protectively. He stared into the shadowed, well covered face of the cloak-wearing-monster.
"You know, I have never seen your face before." he commented with a curious tilt of his head before a gentle, child-like giggle was let out, "Just kind of funny how I never really thought to ask about it at any time, I guess. That's okay though, every monster has their secrets."

Asriel blinked a few times at what she had to say, looked to June, and then back to River Person, "I guess it makes a bit more sense now. Like I told mummy I think the robots might have mistaken me for a human." he continued before looking to his hands in deep thought when he heard that River Person said she was happy he was back; and chose not to comment on it. As Asriel let some thoughts run through his mind, hearing River Person's encouragement filled him with Determination.

The goat child seized up a bit when River Person brought up that the mystery monster seemed to know him, "I-I don't know. I don't even know who he is - I don't think?" he replied nervously as the boy anxiously rubbed his fingers against each other, "Something about him feels familiar though, not in a I-have-seen-this-person-before-kind-of-familiar-way, but rather some part of him feels like it. I can't be sure right now though."

Asriel remainded behind his mother as he looked up at his towering father with uncertain red eyes; albeit even surprised by the apology.
"I-it's okay Daddy, I understand. I wouldn't visit me too. Please don't be sorry." he piped up with a meek smile.

Asgore would find that the prince didn't shy away when the large paw rested upon his shoulder. The boy even placed a hand on top of his father's as he continued to watch him; eyes glossy as a tear or two had started to build up among them. Asriel's fur was brushed back slightly against his father's hot exhale, provoking a familiar and very distant memory he had forgotten about until just now. Thinking about his family, back before it was broken so very long ago, filled Asriel with Determination.

The prince remained silent as the events unfolded from there on out and he still opted to cling onto the end of Toriel's dress as he followed closely behind her. He kept his distance when the incident broke out between Undyne and Cobalt and merely watched as two monsters had already stepped in to intervene and when most of what he would have protested with was already said, Asriel chose to stay quiet, finding it unnecessary to repeat it during the stand off.

The little boy seemed to hold his breath and his hands twisted the end of Toriel's dress anxiously as he awaited for her to turn around. His heart drummed softly, his soul pulsed attentively to his heart and he let the fabric of his mother's dress slip through his fingers like running water. When she finally called for his name, the young prince held his hands in front of his chest, still instinctively covering the pendant as he looked up to her; mirroring those same crimson eyes and nodded meekly.

It was a mystery as to what exactly what Asriel was thinking, but he sure seemed anxious about something. Was it just because of anticipating their reactions? A certain skeleton in the hall? Or was something else at play here? He tensed up as he mother bent down to pick him up, but didn't resist in the slightest. His breathing was rather quick and he shivered slightly, as if anticipating some form of attack being thrown at him. Though he quickly eased the tension when he felt the warm, loving embrace of Toriel. It was as though he melted away like butter, at first gently touching his arms around her and then gradually adding more pressure into a more heartfelt squeeze. The little boy gasped and tears had started to roll ever so freely and silently. How long has it been since he had felt an embrace such as this?
"I don't ever want to let go, Mummy." he murmured with a quivering lip.

Seeing and feeling Sans' gaze bore down on him like icy nails Asriel instinctively balled up in his mother's arms and shrank away from him, towards her, as much as he possibly could. It was when he heard his mother's confused comment he looked up at her, "I was let out." he piped up.
"You were just let out?"
Asriel winced at the coldness and oddly sharpness of Sans' voice. However, now that he was here in his mother's arms and hugging her, filled the boy with Determination.

"Y-yes!" he insisted, once he found the courage, "Someone came in my 'room', unlocked the canister, gave me a necklace and left the door wide open when they left. Before I knew it I was looking and feeling like myself again." he recounted as he clung tightly to his mother's clothes but he was determined to try and convince them he wasn't lying and continued, "They didn't say anything though. Just heavy steps and a lot of hissing. Wore armor from head-to-toe. Room was too dark to see since, there was only one light in the whole room. There was no one in the hallway outside my 'room' like there usually was so I left to come and find Mummy."
He took a moment to breathe, "I-I know I did some bad things. Some very, very bad things." Asriel bleated as he covered his eyes with his little paws, "And I don't expect any of you to forgive me, but I am very, very sorry. I don't want to have to use my power in that way ever again."

When the taller skeleton addressed him, Asriel's head turned towards him suddenly; his long ears flopping in the process. One of them, Alphys may particularly notice, had a small, harmless puncture in it from the time she had gathered a sample of his DNA from a petal back when he was a flower. His meek expression loosened and brightened a little, "H-howdy Papyrus," he greeted before the chef had introduced himself to the boy. Asriel also did his best to avoid Sans' protective glare for the moment he responded to Papyrus the shorter skeleton somehow moved several inches closer to his brother in a blink of an eye, "Yes I am... hungry."
The boy gasped before smiling wider, "Hungry! I am hungry! I am very hungry! Look! I am hungry!" he cheered at his sudden realization, voice filled with both delight and sweet innocence. He then moved his arms to hold over his stomach and bleated out a giggle over the sensation and growls his gut protested over the simplest of needs.

The prince then eagerly accepted the bowl, being so thrilled to hold a dish such as this he didn't may much mind to how Sans had mysteriously moved several more inches closer to Papyrus with the illusion of not moving a single bone in his body just as he took the plate. Asriel blinked a few times as he stared at the contents of the plate before raising a shaky arm to grasp onto the fork in a rather awkward and stiff movement. The kid scooped up some of the pasta with his fork, though he continued to giggle as most of it slid off the fork and beckoned for him to try again and eventually managed a clumsy mouthful. Hie crimson eyes widened and sparkled with delight at the sensation over his taste buds and being tossed about in his mouth as he chewed. Another helping soon found its way onto his fork again.

Lost in the hustle and bustle of monsters, a small child monster plodded in between the sea of monsters. He kept to himself, shying away from whoever he didn't know. One of the oversized, pale green sleeves slipped over a hand whilst the other was pulled back into wrinkles as he held onto a necklace around his neck rather protectively. It ended with a diamond-shaped, hallow, onyx pendant encasing a monster soul burning bright red with Determination.

The young boy stumbled over, tripping over his own feet and landed on the wooden floor with an 'ooft'. His knees and arms stung from the impact and tears involuntarily began to form droplets at his eyes; but not quite run down his cheeks. He then got up once again and continued on wards, until he found someone he knew all too well.

He looked up to the goat woman, who had her back to him and to be completely honest, he seized up like a statue when he realized just what company she was keeping.
'Oh no. Why did it have to be them?' he thought as he held his breath, already shrinking away at first until he finally gathered the courage to grab onto the end of the back of Toriel's dress and gave it an oddly-so-famliar, child-like tug.

Should she turn around, he would bleat, "H-Howdy."

The little goat prince stared at Mistral as he spoke, he had a general idea of what he was talking about but once again some part of his speech did fly over his head, "Training?" he echoed with a tilt of his head; his right ear flopping over his face in the process. When he heard a particular word the young prince groaned as he lifted up his ear and peered from underneath it, "All the greens? Why not just two bites? That's more than one bite!" he pleaded in an attempt of a negotiation.

Upon the mention of showing his gifts for his mother Prince Asriel leapt to his feet with excitement and bounced on the spot in a kid-like fashion, "Yay! Okay! Let's go! Let's go!" he cheered, eagerly taking Mistral's free hand and tugged, urging him to follow back out of the room in search of the queen.

-------

Some time had passed, days, weeks, months, perhaps more; but one thing was for sure was that the young prince was a little older. One late afternoon, the young goat wandered about the castle in search of Mistral with a large red book in hand. Eventually, he did find the skeleton in one of the rooms he typically could be found in. Asriel then knocked sheepishly, "Uncle Mistral? Are you here?" he called out meekly.

"Silly?" Asriel exclaimed with surprise as he stared up at the skeleton, "It's not silly! It's super cool... I'm cool aren't I?" he added, his voice wavering slightly with doubt. Then the young prince's attention was drawn towards the array of toys scattered across the floor as he listened to the skeleton made his point over and over.

With an exaggerated sigh and hunching over, the young goat reluctantly made his way over to the toys - plodding on the spot deliberately every now and then, as if to attempt to procrastinate and delay the inevitable. He reached the first toy on the floor and he glared at it, huffing out a pout once again. His soft feet stomped on the spot several times in a short display of a tantrum before he turned to face Mistral again, "But why do I have to? I'm just gonna play with it again." he whined but looking at that skeletal face for more than a few seconds the young prince knew that he couldn't get away with many things with Mistral than he usually could with say other residents of the castle. Feeling defeated, he slowly - but surely - eventually picked up all his toys and dumped them into the toy chest.

He once again plodded back to the care taker and his ears did perk up when he decided to mess with his fur and Asriel let out a giggle-like bleat in response. His mood shifting dramatically from the little tantrum he had earlier as he listened to the skeleton's praise, "Yeah! You're reeeeeeaaallly tall! But that's not a bad thing! I wanna be tall too!" he exaggerated as he threw his hands into the air and reached as high as he could whilst standing on his tippy-toes for emphasis.

"Yeah your snail pie is yucky." Asriel added with the same level of brutal honesty as other children whom weren't old enough to understand that it could hurt some one else's feelings, "But mummy is so good at cooking she can teach the both of us how to cook! And that's not fair, I want the biggest slice! I'm not a baby anymore, I'm six!"

He smiled wider at the last bit of praise and puffed his chest out proudly, "I draw'd them because I love them." he said simply with a shrug, not really sure on what else to say or other ways to explain it.

The prince hopped away in a child like fashion, waving his arms in the air, "Yeah! I am super strong! One day when I grow up I am gonna be the God of Hyper Death and help everyone with their hopes and dreams!" he proclaimed before running around in circles with his arms stretched out and making sound effects as he went. He would occassionally point his arms to different objects in the room and follow through with making 'tch tch phew' noises with his mouth.

He then hurried back to Mistral, looked to his drawing, then back at the skeleton with a huffy pout, "This is mummy, daddy, me and you! We're in the castle with Santa and the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy dancing at a party!" he said matter-of-factly as he pointed them out, sounding like it was obvious, "And you are helping mummy make a snail pie! That's a snail pie there!"

During his excitement, Asriel didn't quite respond to Mistral's assumption to putting away the toys but he did wince slightly at the 'Mr Dreemur' remark. In return he couldn't help but cast him a guilty, yet sheepish grin before running off for the drawing.

Then when he had come to comfort Asriel, he would soon find that the boy didn't sustain any injuries to be concerned about. A light bruise may develop later, but really he had started crying from the shock of falling over and what had happed to his gifts.

The young prince blinked as his cries were soon reduced to soft sobbing and the occasional hiccup here and there whilst he listened to the skeleton speak. At times he would stare blankly at Mistral at a number of words he wasn't familiar with, but he liked how reassuring the skeleton sounded.

Upon seeing the flowers and drawing in a much better state Asriel gasped with a broad smile before suddenly hugging the caretaker tightly, "Yay! You fixed it! Thank you!" he exclaimed cheerfully with tiny, rapid wags of his fluffy tail.

The young prince then looked at his colourful drawing mote carefully, pouting a little as he thought to himself before showing it to the skeleton properly and bleated, "Will mummy like it? Where is mummy and daddy?"

While it was a little challenging to see whom was whom in the child's drawing of stick figures, scribbles and assortment of colours; distinct characteristsics of each monster could be identitfied. One was tall and broad with large horns, 'yellow' shoulders, a large purple cape and a mess of yellow scribbles all over his face. Another was someone whom was a little shorter with smaller horns, purple dress and white sleeves. The third figure was the smallest one wearing  green and yellow; and finally next to the family was a fairly tall, skinny stick figure wearing black and white holding a block shape of some kinda in his hands. All of them were standing on what looked like green grass - judging by the green mess of jagged lines - and were surrounded by an assortment of shapes and scribbles. It seemed that Asriel had let his imagination run wild with the environment, but the colours used were pretty consistent with parts of the castle he had been familiar with.
