"Don't. Call. Me. Buddo. You and I are in no way friends. We will never come close either." I sneered out. I clawed at the counter, wood curving out from beneath the metal claws attached to my gloves. I didn't have to be there to understand what happened. This skeleton thing was too weak to fight against some stupid idiot with the power to influence and manipulate monsters. Yet even so how was it he was the only one to be controlled by whatever they fought? Was it because of the machines he spoke of? The tools they used when they- screw that. It didn't matter. Even if he had one as well the outcome would have been the same.

I snapped my head to the side to glare at the girl with wings from behind my mask. My red 'eyes' slid over to the one beside her. What the hell ws that? Looked like some robot bodyguard samurai thing. Or was it a ninja? I always got the two confused.  I glared at him too but the guy didn't seem phased at all. Perhaps it was that thing he wore over his head that made it seem that way. I turned back to the bar only to see the fire man forgive the worthless short stack of bones and run off. What the hell was that about? You'd think a monster made of fire would be flaming with uncorked anger. Then again since this was his rest-o-bar catching it on fire wouldn't prove to be beneficial. If it were me I wouldn't give a damn.

The girl with wings had spoken of bringing Haruno back. If I've learned anything you can't bring a shattered gem back to life. There's no means of healing magic or spells that can do that. If there was a way  I would already be on top of it. If one of those you've bonded with dies and comes back the bond will come back with them. No strings attached. This was just stupid fools talk now. Unreal hopes and non realistic dreams. It's all this was. "You're wasting your time girly and so am I. I've got more important things to do." I took one last look at the urn before pushing past the ninja thing with my shoulder. I stopped for a second then continued on considering his words.

It took a moment to process if I heard that right. "WHAT?!" If I remember correctly the one named Haruno was that thing with the gem stuck in her chest. The one I forced into submission and- is that what that feeling was back then. It felt as if someone had cut my soul in half. The bond was severed. ****. In the corner of my glowing red orbs that acted like eyes in place of the ones I hid I glanced at my hand? I gripped it into a fist and growled out "You sound so pathetic! I shouldn't have this it was too dangerous that!" My deep baritone voice was turning into a much more malicious tone- my corruption seeping into my voice as it doubled over itself, curdling static finding it's way inside too. At this point I was nearly growling. "We all know when Monsters are strong and when they are weak. A feeling we get when faced with an overwhelmingly powerful opponent. It's a sensing ability even a blind, deaf monster has.  Every monster has it and maybe it's because of what we had but I know damn well she wasn't too weak for some-" he placed his fingers up to make quotations as he spoke.

"mission. You are right about one thing. It WAS your fault. It IS your fault she's gone." It's also your fault that my powers will be restricted because of the laws of severed bonds of this sort. I slammed my fist down on the counter. My anger evident in aura alone. Perhaps the menacing look on my face fed that too. I was beyond displeased and this itself would put me at a great disadvantage for longer than I'd like. I may be an evil, manipulating **** but even I know kindness when I see it. "You manipulated her kindness, her willingness to help you and you killed her. Were you really one of her friends? Even I wouldn't allow my mind to be so broken into whatever happened there to kill a comrade. Especially one who could help me move further up in the future." The last part was mumbled but I was just pissed off. This was not going according to plan and everyone else in the room was depressed. Their negative energies fed into me and provided a meal for my anger. I held it in.  I couldn't lash out here. With my powers now low it could ultimately destroy my physical form and I'd have to revert back to the phantom stage. This was undeniably the biggest set back I had ever been faced with.  This was a problem and the skeleton monster was to blame. If only he had died with her. I'd be more at ease yet here he is....

I forcefully pushed open the door to the establishment known as Grillby's. There was a letter being crumpled by my strong grasp. I'm not one of those fools that draws attention to themselves but I'm pissed. I had more important things to do than meet up with someone about matters I had no clue about. So why was I here? It peaked my interest. Otherwise I wouldn't have bothered showing up. It better be worth my time. I sneered at the monsters who looked my way before making my way to the stool at the corner of the bar. I chose to be silent. I wasn't here for food. This was strictly business of some sort.

I was quite surprised by the King's sudden seriousness but it was to be expected. He was king of all monsters for a reason. I let my head fall so I was staring at the ground out of respect urhhhggg I couldn't tell you how hard it is to keep myself from losing it right there. I breathed in and out in slow, steady breaths of air. I accepted the badge and clipped it onto the vest of my coat. "Thank you King Asgore this is an honor. We will meet again, Sir." I pulled myself up, bowed my head and made my way out of his home...throne room or which ever it was. The giant doors closed behind me and I was off like a bullet. I had to get as far away from him as possible. It took me a while but eventually I made it to a snowy terrain. I began to chuckle until it formed into full out maniacal laughter. Oh it felt good to finally release it all in a loud series of evil laughter.

My lips curled into the most sinister smirk I've ever felt cross my face. It was more than just difficult to keep my smugness out of my voice I still managed when I said, "That actually sounds nice. I think I'd like to be a General. An S-Class general is just a major bonus!" I looked up at him- red blips of light acting as my eyes focusing on his so he knew I was looking at him. "A most generous offer your kingliness I'll gladly accept this responsibility for the people of the underground." I had to suppress the giggle that tried to erupt from my throat at how stupidly sincere I managed to sound. What idiot would even say something like that? For the monsters of the underground? Puh-lease I want to kill the monsters of the underground. I licked my dry lips hungrily at the mere thought of ripping someone's body in two.

My body shuddered, hips twitching at the scenes of death that played through my head. My arms started shaking- I had to get away soon before I lost it. I needed to be far away from him if I wanted to keep myself on his good side. He couldn't see this." I bowed low while still seated on the ground, this foolish goatman sitting before me, this foolish king wore the kindest expression I'd seen in such a strong figure. "I am very grateful and it would be an honor to s-serve under you." dang I'm stuttering. My fingers dug into the ground as I clawed without moving my arms, each individual finger digging into the dirt below as they scraped it away towards my palms.

"Sonic's the name and speeds my game." I couldn't keep a straight face for long, not that the king would be able to see it; it was my body language that gave it away. "That was a joke- the name's Harbinger."  The overwhelming urge to hold out my hand couldn't be stopped. God damn this sudden force! "and the underground has always been a nice place. I've been here my whole life...at least I think I have. Couldn't really tell ya." The king was a curious one wasn't he? Why'd he wanna know where I live?
"I live around. You know here and there and sometimes everywhere." I wouldn't tell anyone where I lived. That's risky and just plain stupid; besides shouldn't he already know? What did kings do anyway? If he didn't know all this stuff already he wouldn't be asking but...he should right? I internally shrugged.

He asked too many questions a bit too quick and it was kinda annoying but it was also entertaining. A great pass of the time. "I don't know really." That's a lie. "I guess use my abilities for the greater good." Is that how you say it? "I don't have much but I am strong." I could just choke on these lies. Heh but then again I'm better at spewing them. "I don't have much to do these days so; I usually spend my time wandering around aimlessly."

I, Harbinger have just managed to infiltrate the King's home without even trying. "Of course, many thanks your kingliness." I would have placed a hand up to my lips to hide my smirk that was about to let out a laugh but then I remembered that I had my mask on. Hah oh well, not like it matters. I moved past him to enter. Seemed I'd be having a blast after all. Dropping in this time was more fun than expected. "So your kingliness," I started in a teasing tone that my voice automatically corrected on it's own. Jesus christ this was getting tedious. "I didn't really mean to intrude but heh you know I was just hanging around." I told him as I plopped down on the ground. I was getting tired of walking so why not?
I placed my hands on my knees in an attempt to get the strange feeling out of the pit of where my forearm and upper arm joined. I put force into the hands and leaned forward some. Now onto another matter, what could I do about the king? I didn't really have a reason to be here and I have nothing to talk about...so now what? Obviously can't kill the guy. He's got that freaky aura about him so that's completely out of it. Maybe he could provide me with some entertainment! "Yeah that's it." ****, did I just say that out loud?

It's not like it's gonna raise any suspicious questions since it can't easily be taking out of context.

I was growing bored of shooing the still woman and her guards away. You'd think that the dogs would start carrying her off since they're used to being shooed. Well that's what I'd read anyway but they stayed like the loyal, insignificant pups they were. Tasteless for choosing out guards she was I'd give her that. I don't know what exactly happened earlier, whether it be a force field or or a defense system it tingled my whole body in more ways than one. If I had laughed she might have thought me strange.
The large door I was leaning against was pulled open and I fell into the giant room; completely unprepared for the doors to come open so suddenly. I grunted and found myself at the furry feet of a large goat man. I didn't particularly like goats as far as the stories go but this one was different. With a golden crown, a royal purple cape that managed to just barely brush the ground, and royal armor. At first glance he didn't seem like a strong guy if you didn't pay much attention to his height but then came the overbearing kingly aura and I suddenly felt the need to get off my back to bow. What the hell was that about?
I rolled off my back anyway to stand. His last comment got me. He had the voice of an important figure. I submitted to no one so this was nothing. It was nothing like the pull  of the mass inside me from earlier.

"I do pop in and out everywhere so I guess you could say that." Damn my composure wavered. I cleared my throat to hopefully help misguide that. Should I apologize for leaning on his door or- "Also sorry bout that. Didn't mean to dirty up your doors your highness." What the actual...I didn't get the chance to fully ponder whether to do it or not but it came out. Since when did I not have control over my words; and not only that but...your highness?! Really?! Was this natural or was it some sort of hex he put on his subjects? There was only one of two ways to find out. Kill him...or.....

"Must you? That's such a shame. I was hoping you'd change your mind but if you decline I guess I have no choice but to-" I had all intentions of following her whether she liked it or not. "Remain here." I leaned against the door of the king shooing her away. "Well go on, you're in a hurry aren't you?" I let out a sigh, a puff of black leaving my mouth that was hidden behind my mask. An after affect of using my abilities. At times like this I'm mostly made of...well nothing. My body becomes like that of gas and I sincerely enjoy it because it makes me somewhat invincible.

You can try to cut through gas but it'll still be there now won't it but dark powers come with dark consequences.

"I don't know if that pun was intended but it was still funny nonetheless. Your canines are easy to get through you see-" I used shadow shift, a cloud of black covering where I once stood. I didn't touch the scaly lady but I did lean forward to whisper into her ear. "I can easily get between them and if I wanted too I could attack you." I immediately found myself back in my original spot. Not only was moving around speedily, and soundly my races specialty it was also far too easy due to her not as quick canine guards.

"I mean they're alright but you're not wrong. I do secretly admire you. Someone as fair as a lady such as yourself shouldn't be without a base like me to support you. I don't mind doing it for free. I don't charge money for simple things like this. If you want to pay me I wouldn't mind a kiss." I ran my hand over my chest to fix my belt that hung over my shoulder.

"Don't worry I have no intentions of harming you. I only wish to protect you if you'll allow me. Just think, I can't be the only one who can easily slip through your guards with ease right? So it is best you have someone who can stop those as sneaky as myself."

"A hurry you say? To go where? Surely someone of your...erm stature would need some sort of escort yes? Might I be of service?" It would only be temporary of course but where ever I ended up I planned to wreak havoc. A small side Journey to my original plans wouldn't be so bad. A small detour if you will. "Of course you won't have to pay me. My...services are free. Consider yourself lucky that I dropped in when I did. Word has it that places have become far more dangerous as of late."

I placed a hand over my chest and gave a small bow of...I'd say respect but I didn't respect anyone but my self. "Time is of the essence so we should get going shouldn't we?" It didn't matter if she agreed or not since I would tag along anyway. She did say she was in a hurry so why waste time with a "No" and an explanation as to why. I had all the time in the world and I could spend it however I pleased.

I landed heavily in front of large doors. I looked around to survey the surrounding area. I don't think I've been in these parts yet. I turned to my left to find some sort of...I don't even know what to call it. My grin spread from beneath my mask as I thought of the many ways to...wait I can't. I couldn't do anything to anyone until I found the gem thing I just bonded with not too long ago. Since the thing had a very feminine appearance I'd refer to her as a she. Even if the pronoun wasn't right I could care less.

She had a veil over her face which was interesting to say the least. Maybe I could find some entertainment by confronting her. Not a bad plan at all. "Hello there." I spoke in my normal tone of deep, dark and occasionally raspy. If you heard me you'd immediately think I was the bad guy. In which I am.

Inactive Characters / Death Walks Among You- Harbinger
« on: February 06, 2017, 04:55:23 pm »
The less you know about me the better...however

Age: None of your ******* business. Yes I took the liberty of censoring that myself.
Gender: Do I look like a woman to you?
Origin: Does it really matter?
Sexuality: I don't love anyone or anything so consider me Asexual.
Height: Taller than you but if you must be such a brat I'm 6"3.
Nickname: As if you'd live that long to even call my name.
Abilities: Killing.
Weapons: I have two shotguns, and some tricks up my nonexistent sleeves.

Bio: Hmm I like to kill things. I'll kill things, I'll kill people and then I'll kill you. Ah but I do have some history I don't mind sharing. I'm called Harbinger but my real name is Thanatos. I killed my parents when I was 16. Don't ask how it's brutal. I was born near the edge. Yes THE edge. You know the one that no one knows what's at the bottom. My parents were pieces of Garbage. I've never dusted anyone before them and I have yet to dust anyone else. Consider me a villain if you want I'll come for you either way. Also I lied before I don't only have shotguns. You see I'm from a race of half-ghost/half shadow monsters so moving through the shadows and surprising my enemies is normal. I once met a ghost by the name of Napstablook. Interesting fellow but not worth killing I'll give him that. Is there anything else you would like to know or am I done here? Very well then thank you for your time.
