Flowey snorted loudly, "A fair monster. Riiiiight. How does one who knows so much, know so little?" He questioned rhetorically.

As Alphys was preparing the syringe, the flower subconsciously backed up to the further side of the container. Even the twisted, anxious roots had gathered to mostly one side, creating a lump like a wire ball beneath him and ends trailing off to the sides into a somewhat cresent moon shape at the base. Flowey tried to avoid his expression from shifting from either snarky or confident; but the anticipation of what wad to come next - for he didn't really know how much was involved - was proving a challenge, even for Flowey.

However, he soon found out that it was true to Alphys' word that he would feel very little - if any - pain as one of his petals was punctured. He grimaced at first before relaxing once again; and his roots flooded the base in a loose tangled mess once again. Curiously, he turned to look at his reflection in the glass, experimentally turning from side-to-side and flicking the petal every now and then.
"You know, I used to wonder about getting a piercing, but I don't think I ever expected my first one to be like this." he commented before settling himself on a more comfortable spot in the container once again before adding sarcastically, "Oh? That upgrade better include a spa and tanning booth."

When Alphys smiled at him as she packed her things, he returned a friendly one in kind, "Oh good, I look forward to your next visit Doctor Alphys~" he hummed as he waved with a vine.

The cursed flower relished in the silence which had followed; he knew he hit a nerve, but Flowey's grin slowly started to fade as Alphys spoke. It was certainly not the reaction he had been expecting.

"Of course I know what I'm doing! I've done this so many times before than I've lost count." he retorted, "...but this time, I admit, is a little different from all the times before. It's the same, yet not the same also. Too many Anomalies appeared all at once and in the one place. Which is good, it's managed to keep me entertained."

He then leaned back thoughtfully; the sinister expression he wore before vanished completely as he watched Alphys carefully, "Even you, too. You're a little different. Not by much, but it's still a little. You've actually surprised me Doctor, who'dda think you had it in you after all." Flowey commented.

His red eyes gleamed with excitement, was this the start of a change he had been searching for? Were there now other variables for him to explore?
"What benefits the kingdom is a matter of perspective, Doctor." he argued, "If the king decided to drastically increasing the amount of tax on the residents of the Underground to build more buildings, facilities et cetera; but what use is that if the families who could only just barely make ends meet before have the rest of their money taken away and could no longer provide for their families. Sure the extra flow in the economy benefits the kingdom, but does it really benefit The Kingdom?"

The former prince didn't really seem to look for an answer on that one before continuing, "Tell you what, Doctor, I've decided to let you have this sample anyway. Just so I get to see where this goes... besides, if I don't like it, some day, I could make it so that it never happened." he chuckled, "Oh, I know you do Doctor, but it doesn't mean that you can't have more~"

Flowey rolled his dimly-lit, red eyes, "Of course we are so much more, but deep down you cannot deny what you and I truly are at the very core of our beings. So, just how much better does it make you feel to be in denial and pass the blame onto them? Is it also their fault for the choices you have made and kept hidden away, Doctor?" he almost cooed that last part. Emphasis on the almost part.

Flowey went suddenly still as he fell silent when he had come to a realization. After a moment's pause he then looked up; the look in her eyes, how she fiddled with the syringe and the scraping sounds of the 'snipping' made Flowey's 'throat' run dry. Almost as if he had a knot in his throat. The golden flower, whose petals were tipped with red Determination then eyed the surgical tool warily. He even started to press the back of his stem on the glass behind him, "So you 'could' grasp an underrstanding?" he echoed, ironically very much like how an Echo Flower would, "Do you even know what you're doing? On the contrary, it is very important for me to know what you plan on doing, Doctor. I'm not going to just hand over any part of me without knowing."

If flowers could sweat, he just might have started to. He looked at her again before forcing out another cackle, "Well. Actually, this just proves my point. You're about to show me just how much of a monster you truly are, aren't you? If you're here out of your free will... behind the king's back no less..."

The former prince pressed his face up against the glass again, his red pupils shrinking into the depths of the hallow, cold, black sockets of his eyes. A horrible, twisted grin stretched across his face as he spoke, "This is how you get your kicks, right Doctor? It's okay, you can tell me your darkest of secrets. You would be surprised at just how much I would understand. Maybe, just like how a best friend would~"

A sudden, hoarse burst of maniacal cackling erupted suddenly from the flower, causing for him to bloom in the process. He looked rather sickly; being denied even the smallest exposure of sunlight and he even had a few scars here and there on his face and petals - souvenirs from Alphys herself during their last encounter.

"Oh please Doctor, fix me? I am a monster - just like you - there is nothing to fix...  do you understand what I mean? Ever hear those stories the humans tell their children about to not to go to Mt Ebbott because the monsters will devour their souls? Just look at what the King, the Captain, you and the Trash Bag have done. Prime examples. We are called monsters for a reason. We are meant to be feared. Not all of this frolicking and making friends bullshit! Doctor, there is nothing to fix simply because I am a monster…

He turned his head slightly, allowing for some of the petals on his side to brush up against the glass as a twisted, yet curious grin stretched upon his face, "Oh, but to revert me... I could think of one thing that could do that..." he hummed, "But do tell, Doctor Alphys, what did you have in mind?"

At first the closed golden flower didn't move; so still that some may question if it was just an ordinary flower. That is, until finally there was some movement. The roots which had gathered and twisted into a mangle at the base of the canister twitched and coiled into further knots; Flowey's pale green stem creaked ever so slightly as he tilted his head and the petals parted ever so slightly to allow for those dull red eyes to leer through.
"Oh. It's you." he groaned before closing the petals around his face again, making his voice muffled but still comprehensible to hear. He seemed to be disinterested before adding rhetorically and ending on a blatantly sarcastic note, "Feeling? Do monsters without souls feel? If they don't then I'm doing 'just peachy'."

His petals parted slightly once again for a brief moment, allowing him just enough time for the portable table being there to register and said as the petals closed again, "Golly, I hope you're here to euthanize me doc, cause that would be just swell."

EDIT:

I had part of this RP dubbed by SuperShadicX250 from the 8th reply onwards... hoooly moly am I excited to hear this! :D Granted their take on Flowey's voice is rather deep, I still adore it to bits!

Locked up in one of the Underground's high security cells at the castle was a glass, cylindrical container with a metal base and top at the centre of a windowless room. It was set upon a rather solid-looking table and a couple of chairs were at either side. Inside said container was a golden flower with shriveled up petals that were closed over Flowey's face. He didn't move, nor say anything. He hadn't ever since he was transfered into the new containment unit and while he was no longer being tortured every passing minute, he was still currently unable to Reset unless he dies. While he didn't want to admit it, he didn't have it in him to try and kill himself; for he too, just like most other monsters, was afraid of dying and not being able to come back. He was too concerned about that there may be a possibility that if he tried anything, he may not be able to come back.

The seconds continued to pass by and every minute without fail Flowey was subjected to the cycle of blasts of sunlight and healing magic.

Undyne was the first to answer the former queen; she had her suspicions but the more she listened and watched Toriel the more she was sounding like the former wife of Asgore. Still, she spoke with that same respectful, yet firm tone, "I know the Royal Scientist quite well, she could probably build a similar thing to that but without the whole laser thing. As for what would happen, I cannot say for certain at this stage or for how long; but I have a strong feeling that he would be imprisoned in the highest security cell in the dungeons for his crimes. Like any other prisoner, he does have Visitation Rights, if you wish to see him." she explained before suppressing a sigh, "Then again, he seems to be pretty convincing to say he's the fallen prince, so, I do not know if Asgore will want to lock him up. I'd imagine he would want to sit down and talk to him over a cup of tea at the very least before sentencing him."

The skeleton froze when he was asked such a direct question, and from Toriel no less. The lights from his eye sockets were still absent, so it was difficult to tell if he was looking at Toriel or Flowey.
"Of course he knew." the former prince spoke up quickly, "He and I have been through the same dance over and over and each Reset we both take away something that we have learnt so that when the next time happens we both are able to act, move and react better and faster. Smarter. He've figured it out at some point along the way... and yes I remember. It was a dumb drawing and a flower. What about it?"
"You're a Sociopath. You wouldn't stop until you wiped out the entire Underground - multiple times. I had to at least try and stop you. I was hoping that after the first few times you would just take my advice and give up; but, uh, things like you? You're pretty Determined, huh?" Sans interjected before noticing that Zarc was tearing up and looking to Toriel, seeing her like this, was killing him inside. He then sighed and moved to hug her tightly, whilst also keeping his distance from the canister, "I'm sorry Tori, I can't even begin to fathom how difficult this must be for you."

When the ghostly, seed-sculpted image of the former prince heard his mother trying to justify Sans' actions he rolled his eyes, "Protect everyone? That would actually imply the bone bag would actually take initiative and do something to stop it from happening. No. Not this guy. He waited until he had no other option to face me..." he then paused before a twisted grin stretched as he tilted his head, "But what about the human children? You had quite a different attitude about them, didn't you?"

Sans had then broke from the hug, pocketed his hands and then clenched them into fists; knuckles cracked in the process. At this point he had turned around and started to walk away; waving a hand in the air as  he went, "Listen, I think you guys can handle it from here. I've already said what I needed to. Besides, I'll be at Grillby's if you need anything." the skeleton announced just as he walked past Grillby.
"You still just can't give a straight answer can you? Not even to your precious friends, you at the very least owe them that closure." Flowey called out to him, "Well since you're so stubborn why don't I do that for you? Did you know that when each and every one of those human children that fell she looked after them? Cooked for them and gave them a home to stay in? But each and every one of them chose to leave and as they left who was right there snoozing at his Sentry Post? It didn't happen every time, but at some point you reported Human Sightings, did nothing or what was it that you said again? That they would be dead where they stand?"

The former prince then turned to look at the others; particularly Toriel and Zarc, "I can't stand him. Why are you even friends with him? Your friend is a child killer. He's no better than me!"

He then heard Zarc’s response, and if he was  honest, it left him speechless. He had hit the nail right on the head. Not even the former prince couldn’t fall into his bad habit of twisting words against monsters. Next thing they knew, Sans was gone.

Tick. Tick. Tick. Tick. Tick.

The seconds continued to pass by at a steady pace and part of the canister's lip continued to turn gradually as like an egg timer. Those seconds, while it dragged on for some, went far too quickly for the flower's liking. He pressed his body, roots and all, as flat as he could against the hot metal base of the canister as a futile attempt to try and escape the next blast of laser-point sunlight. Sixty seconds later, the canister lit up and a rush of intense heat erupted from it before fading into a green glow of healing magic. It was like the canister was containing a miniature explosion with how brutal and suddenly the 'sunlight' had appeared each time.

The flower continued to shudder as he was now starting to mentally count down to the next sixty seconds with dread. His gaze did shift over to seeing Toriel rushing over to him, though he made no signs of moving towards her. Was he too scared to move?
"Mummy? Let me out. Please. It hurts so much. I don't know how much longer I can stand this." he began, glowing red eyes staring right up at her pleadingly. More seconds continued to pass and he cast her a confused look as she snatched the canisters from the Shyrens. The Shyrens' eyes lost their entranced, green glow now and looked rather confused as to what was going on not.
"Why mummy? Why can't you get me out? Why are you waiting? It's because I hurt you, isn't it?"

Then she started singing a lullaby the husk was all too familiar with, causing for him to go quiet as he listened. He hadn't heard that in so long, he had almost forgotten the words. About half way through the song the canister blasted Flowey with another dose of sunlight before healing him again. Whilst healing, hearing Toriel's gentle voice singing to her child, filled Flowey with Determination.

----

When Zarc burped he would hear a familiar chuckle approach him from the side as the short skeleton made his way over to him and then when he quipped Sans' chuckles soon turned to a hearty laughter that seemed to have him in stitches as he briefly buckled over. After taking a moment to calm down and flicked a tear away from an eye socket; which were both lit up brightly with tiny white lights, "Dude, that was awesome." he commented and was about to pat him on the back but Zarc then stood up. If he tried that now, not only would he not have been able to reach his back, but it would have just been weird and awkward from where he could reach. So he kept his hands in his pockets before adding in jest, "So, uh, what's that now? 20g?"

Sans went silent both suddenly and noticeably when he overheard what was happening between Toriel and Flowey and especially when she turned to him to help and the lights disappeared from his eye sockets again. He wanted to do what she asked of him because of that pleading look in her eyes, he could see how she felt about the situation. There still were no signs whether or not Sans knew who Flowey really was this whole time, but he found himself mentally debating on what to do. He couldn't answer her just yet.

----

When Zarc loomed over the canister simply stared at him wide-eyed, even as the seconds ticked by the flower was starting to feel like he was safer inside the torture device rather than out there with Zarc. That is of course, he was reminded of what happened inside the canister.
"A mockery? Not even in the slightest." Flowey replied lowly shortly after being healed. He turned away and frowned; if he had a heart, or even a Soul at the very least, it would have been pounding frantically with panic now. When he found Zarc to have been unnerving before, that was nothing compared to now; he was even starting to reget not having done his research on this Anomaly before he had mocked him in the chamber earlier, "Yes and no, sometimes I was able to watch you and other times I was not. You Anomalies appeared in different places and at different times with different True Resets. There were even some timelines where you had never even met Smiley Trashbag before. It was only in this timeline I was able to do what I wanted because each and every one of you happened to appear and meet each other in the one Timeline. Do you have any idea what the odds of that happening was? Slim-to-none at best. Trust me when I say, I know that from first-hand experience." he then spared a glance at the skeleton who was beside Zarc; staring him down with empty eye sockets, watching the flower very carefully. When did he get here? "And he knows it too, if you don't believe me."

The ghostly seed sculpture cleared his throat, "But that's besides the point. The true answer to both your questions is neither. I died because humans killed me..." he began before proceeding to talk about when he first met Chara when they fell down, how the goat family took them in, when they fell ill and their request for their final resting place to be in their hometown, how Asriel combined both his soul and Chara's so that he was able to cross the barrier and carry them there. He also recounted in vivid detail about the Surface, what it all looked like, the colours, the smells, the sights, sounds - all to a point that it was beyond comprehension of details found in books in the 'Librarby' and lined up pretty accurately with the monsters' stories of whom were alive before being sealed in the Underground. His story, of course, was broken up frequently due to the canister lighting up and containing the explosion of heat and light, but with his Determination, Flowey saw through it. Whether he liked it or not.
"...and so I returned home. Mum, Dad and Mistral were there. They hurried to help me but I told them that I was fine... that I didn't come home just to die."
He then paused, looking to Sans again; not only did he find Zarc extremely intimidating but now he had to deal with Sans' judgmental gaze too.
"Then suddenly, I woke up. I was in bed of other golden flowers and when I realised that I couldn't feel my arms, legs and that I had awoken as a flower without my soul I cried out for my parents... but no body came. The rest, you know from there."
The miniature goat-child made of seeds frowned again and dared to look up at Zarc again, "There, satisfied?"

---

Sans' body made a motion to suggest that he took an unnecessary breath and exhaled as he thought about how to answer Toriel.
"Tori, I want to help you, I really do." he began with a heavy sigh; his tone sounding more serious and on a lower octave than usual, "But considering what he has done countless times, I honestly feel that it's for the betterment of everyone if he stays where we know he is unable to Reset and that's in there. He won't even try attacking and attempt killing himself because, just like everyone else, he's afraid of dying. At least when someone else attempts to kill him he's familiar with however he does his Resets, but trying to commit suicide? That's on a completely different level, he's afraid that since he hasn't done it before, he may not be able to come back."

It was then Undyne had decided to step in and moved closer to the group. She had been listening and whilst she made her way over to them her armor started to retract and revert back to it's former glory, light stopped streaming from her left eye socket and her fin-like hair was no longer spiky and flowed behind her like a red ribbon.
"He definitely needs to pay for his crimes." she said in a respectful, firm tone, "But leaving him in there is cruel and the Crown doesn't tolerate torture. There are many other forms of punishment he can face for what he's done but being turned to ashes and then being brought back before truly dying every minute throughout the day - or even through out the days, weeks or even months if I dare say -is disgraceful." She then extended a hand to the former queen.
"If I may, hand him over to me and I will see to it that he is no longer tortured."
"Undyne." Sans interjected, "If you show kindness to someone undeserving they will take advantage of you. Don't allow him to do that; not again. He cannot leave that canister."
"This isn't right Sans. I cannot stand by knowing that a monster, and especially if he truly is the king's son, being blown to bits on a constant basis."
"You still don't know what he's truly capable of. What I've told you barely even scratches the surface. He's only acting like this because he's finally been cornered. Old habits die hard. I'm convinced that letting him out that he will Reset and we will be going through this all over again. Because of him we're still stuck down here. Who knows, we probably would have been back on the Surface years ago if he didn't keep Resetting."

The former prince then chose to speak up, "God listen to you, putting this all on me when you're just as guilty." he chastised, "That's the one thing I hate about you most, Trash Bag, is how you pick and choose facts that's convenient for you so you can get up on your high horse about it all. At least I know what I've done was horrible and openly say it, but whenever you say it you act like you're a knight in shining armor. Yes, I Resetted countless times, but you knew very well that I can only do that when I die; and how many times have you killed me with that knowledge?" he spat before turning to his mother again, "Are you really going to listen to a guy who has murdered your own son many, many, many times?"
"Watch it."
"Oh, 'so sorry' that I struck a nerve there. I didn't think skeletons had nerves." he snapped sarcastically as he rolled his eyes.
"Thing is, what I'm concerned about, if you're being genuine, is that not once have you apologised or shown remorse for your actions."
"I don't have a soul anymore, idiot, feeling anything is extremely hard to come by."

Just as Zarc's told Flowey he lost, the demonic husk twisted his body around in an unnatural angle - even for a flower - causing for his stem to creak and crack until some clear liquid spilled. He looked around with confusion at the silence, why there were green 'lights' shining everywhere and especially at the lack of 'world devouring' happening, "Wha? What's going on?" he piped up with surprise, "WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY HYPER GONER?!"
Shortly afterwards, lightning struck the silently laughing skull in the genie's hands; shattering it into thousands of pieces with ease. The former prince then swore loudly as his grip around Sprite tightened; he even shook the puck slightly out of anger. He continued to blabber on how he was meant to be the one winning, how everyone else should have lost, how they're all idiots... blah... blah...
That is of course, until other monsters started to gang up on him, being set on fire, clouds being thrown his way and having his best friend ripped from the tangles of his vines by a fizzy shark.

All the while this was happening, Undyne's screams of rage soon dwindled to low growls until finally heavy panting. Once she was sure that the black hole was gone and it's encasing skull destroyed she gradually released her grip onto the monsters until their souls stopped glowing. Cobalt stretched out her wings to glide back down onto the ground before collapsing on her side, Sans fell a short distance, turning around just in time to land on the back of his pelvis and kept his upper body elevated by leaning back onto his hands. He too was breathing heavily and sweat continued to pour profusely. Undyne, no matter how much her body protested, she refused to buckle beneath her exhaustion. With a wince she dispersed the spears lodged into her legs and she continued to stand. She felt like she had the need to display an example and to never show the enemy when she felt tired or weakened. She had to keep fighting.
"I... I am... never doing that again." he huffed in between words before rolling over to the side suddenly as a single spear shot up from the ground behind him.

Undyne had turned to Sans, rage clearly still brewing at her face and the light from her left eye socket continued to stream up and down gracefully as she marched after him.
"Oh boy."
"YOU'RE DAMN RIGHT YOU'LL NEVER DO THAT AGAIN!" another single spear was sent flying at Sans, which he easily dodged.
"Okay." he replied nonchalantly.
"THAT WAS FOR BEING A LITTLE PUNK!" Another spear was dodged.
"Okay."
"AND THAT WAS FOR SOILING THE ROYAL GUARD NAME!" Yet another single spear was dodged.
"Hehehehe nice one Undyne. You're getting good at this."

The fish warrior then stopped for a moment, as if something had hit her. She stared at the smiling skeleton for a moment, granting her just enough time to calm down, "Wait, wait, wait... did you piss me off on purpose just so that you didn't have to work as hard?"
Her question was then met with a response in form of a wink and a simultaneous shrug.
Undyne blinked, closed her eyes and slowly exhaled irritably as she pinched the skin between her eyes with an index finger and a thumb, "Sans, you're an asshole."
"Actually, I don't have-" he began but was abruptly interrupted when she raised a hand to his face.
"Just. Just don't, okay? Don't even think about finishing that sentence."
"You 'cod' it 'bass'."

Back on the other side of the chamber, the genie was hunched over; the many faces on his underbelly staring wide-eyed in shock and pain as this group of Anomalies had actually intervened and interfered with his magic. Sure the wish was to give Flowey a Hyper Goner, but it was gone before he could even finish the spell. When the Hyper Goner was summoned all of his followers present, the Koray, were gone and the black hole took his lamp along with it before it had disappeared to... wherever Zarc had planned for it to. Aristide, as powerful as he was, still depended on the lamp and his followers for his survival and existence. The monster reminiscent of a Mantis Shrimp appearance clawed onto the ledge of the cliff, digging his feet into the rock as his body was slowly eroding away to dust. His eyes focused onto the golden flower with anger; if he was going to die, he sure as hell wasn't going to go without receiving his final payment for his services.

Aristide waved a hand, causing for the nearby Shyrens' eyes to glow a bright green in the same way it did with the Koray followers. They looked like they were entranced as they gracefully made their way to the flower; the cylindrical canister in hand of Elloise's. It's top and base were made from extremely strong and thick metals and the curved surface made from bullet proof glass that blocked out sunlight. It was still designed to withstand spinning at at extremely high velocities and contain massive amounts of heat without melting or breaking away. Something to strongly built, was quite an achievement, even for the brilliant minds of the Underground.

Next thing Flowey knew, Aceline and Berdine grabbed him by the step and completely uprooted him and shoved him into the open canister. I took some effort, a lot of struggle from the flower, seed bullets being sent flying in every which direction but he was soon sealed within. As soon as it was locked, a small light lit up at the top, indicating that the canister was active and sealed. Flowey ceased his swearing and gasped suddenly, heaving heavily and struggling to breathe. His remaining petals shriveled up and he looked around frantically, "What is this?! Let me out! I can't breathe!"
He then looked up in confusion when the top of the canister started to turn a fraction every second; sounding off 'ticks' similar to a timer.

When Link went back in time, he changed history; this included the canister's purpose for being built. Without him, what the genie had in mind would have never happened.
Aristide was just about ready to fade away but he managed to utter his final words, "When you wished to restart the world anew and change everyone's purpose for being and existing here, including mine, I had only realised just how much power you had been hiding. I cannot simply, allow for a thing as manic as you overshadow me as being more powerful. I am Aristide, all powerful genie and wish granter of anyone's wildest dreams. So, as a parting gift, or your payment, you will be exposed to all the sunlight you can handle."
Flowey smiled broadly, "Wha? Seriously?"
The plant then looked up to see that inside the top of the cylinder had light up with a bright golden light, but the former prince was quick to realise that this was no pleasant feeling. He got sunlight alright, at extremely close proximity. He screamed as his body quickly turned to ashes and the heat blasting from the sunlight could be felt from outside the container. However, before Flowey could even die, the bottom of the inside of the cylinder lit up a green light; healing light and his entire body was restored him to perfectly good health.

The cylinder was still ticking.

"Every minute that passes by you will be exposed to this sunlight for every life you have taken away from this world; no matter when." the genie concluded before disappearing to the wind, his dust falling to the abyss below. All wishes, curses and payements - except for Flowey's - disappeared with the genie's death.

Flowey's body started trembling, he wasn't going to be able to die? And he was going to be stuck in this loop of almost reading death only to be pulled back for the next onslaught?
"Heh... w-what is this... feeling?" he stuttered as he shook, if he had a heart it would have been racing as the seconds ticked by.

Another minute passed and the canister lit up with a laser-focused 'sunlight' which burnt the plant to ashes only for it to heal to perfect health again.

And again.

And again.

And again.

And again.

Flowey was getting desperate, looking around the room to the other monsters behind the glass. He was scared. Sprite was out of action and could not help him.

"No... please... this is enough."

And again.

"I won't be a bad god I swear..."

And again.

"Okay! Okay! I've learnt my lesson! I won't Reset again!"

Again.

"Please!"

Again.

"I'll do anything!"

Again.

The flower shrunk into a pathetic, shivering heap and he started crying. Seeds had built up at his face, piling up by the dozens as he turned to look to Toriel. The seeds were then sculpted to form a miniature, ghostly figure of her deceased child, "Help me please mummy! I cannot breathe! Mummy! I don't want this anymore! I didn't ask for Determination mummy!"

Again. Toriel could see the very image of her child being melted away in the light before reforming himself again.

"Mummy! Please! Don't leave me again! I don't want to be alone."

Again she watched the same thing happen.

"Mummy! Please! I just want to go home."

The lights in Sans' eye  sockets disappeared. It was hard to tell what he was thinking. He tilted his head slightly to watch Toriel. What was she going to do?

An invisible, shock-wave of a pulse boomed throughout the next-door-chamber before spilling into the one where ice fortress and monsters were fighting. The clouds stopped moving, noises of chaos ensuing in this chamber went completely silent, puddles of water on the ground ceased rippling from the slightest movements; but most noticeable of all, every monster had frozen into place. The sensation only lasted for a few short moments before the headbands started blinking and beeping, releasing the wearers from being frozen in time. Then, not long afterwards time once again started flowing naturally.

Flowey jumped mid-way through his taunting of Sans when he heard Zarc's malevolent warning. The disfigured face of which did not belong to him rippled away as the opened and closed Disc Florets folded away like a domino effect; and his own soon reemerged. Having been caught off-guard, the flower's roots coiled and unraveled sequentially as he retreated a few faces; head leaning back as he stared at Zarc with defiance.
"You're wrong." he retaliated, or rather insisted, "You're just TOO STUPID to realize that MY Determination dictates over all; you're ALL weak and helpless against me! If it weren't for that landfill of bones over there you would have no idea of what was going on. Your mind, your memories, your friends. They're ALL MINE! And I can take it all away whenever I want! Everything eventually becomes lost in time, and I control time! I am the closest thing to a GOD this world will ever see!"
The flower grimaced as his eyes shifted slightly to notice the influx of energy which sparked around Zarc; he could feel that needle-like prickling run up the back of his stem again, only it was more intense this time. The odd aura this room was emitting earlier had died away; other monsters might start to feel... healthier... more energetic. Perhaps, this would be the best time to recuperate from what they had just endured.

Flowey could feel his sins crawl up his back.

It was usually a sensation he not only grew used to, but fond of over time... but this time, it was different. Looking at Zarc, feeling more of whatever it is that was slowly revealing itself from within already had Flowey on edge. The remaining three petals which still clung to his body rattled nervously when Zarc's mouth curled into a jagged grin, "S-s-stop making that creepy face!" he blurted out. Hearing what else he had to say, then seeing his own mother comfort the skeleton he hated the most, realizing how that even after how he had tricked Sans into hurting and killing his friends; they were the ones who had the determination to see through it and stand by their friend. Sure, it was quite clear that the Sentry's actions were not of his own accord, but how they persevered through that ordeal really started to bring things into perspective for the former prince. He was so sure, that when met with someone as bold and dangerous as themselves; one who had the ability to kill more than once behind a cold smile, that they too would kill to live. Yet here they were, doing the complete opposite and not once did they hurt Sans.

Rage soon filled the flower, his body buckling over and shuddering as a result of it. He was breathing heavily, even coughed up a few splutters of black sludge onto the floor, "NO!" he shouted, "He was supposed to kill all of you! You were all supposed to die, so, finally everything can be Perfect! The irony alone was meant to crush him in the end! This was not supposed to happen. You HAVE to play by MY rules! IT'S KILL OR BE KILLED! AND IF YOU WON'T KILL THEN YOU HAVE TO BE KILLED!"

After hearing the last words spoken by Toriel and Zarc the flower could no longer contain is rage. A most putrid expression sprawled across the flower's face and the remaining three golden petals flooded with a blood-red tone and his eyes flashed brightly, "STOP!" he bellowed. Then, an invisible, shock-wave of a pulse boomed throughout the chamber; starting with where Flowey stood. The clouds stopped moving, noises of chaos ensuing in the next chamber were completely silent, puddles of water on the ground ceased rippling from the slightest movements; but most noticeable of all, every monster had frozen into place.

The flower heaved as he took a moment to look around, realizing that he had just frozen time. A feeble laugh rolled out from his mouth, more and more black sludge seeped from his mouth at a much more noticeable rate, "I told you. I have learnt new ways of using Determination! I can take it all away whenever I want!" he jeered, though his sinister grin soon fell when multiple, all too familiar beeping and flashing echoed throughout the chamber and in the next. The headbands somewhere on the monsters' bodies went into overdrive as they shrieked frantically. Flowey's eyes widened as he watched the bodies of said monsters were able to move freely once again; even from the slightest movements of breathing, despite with the entire Underground standing still. He shot a glower towards Sans, whom was still frozen solid in time, "FUCK YOU! WHY DO YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO RUIN EVERYTHING!!!"

And with that the flower sunk into the ground, disappearing in between the cracks of rock and dirt. His grip upon freezing time also ceased, allowing for time to progress naturally once again.

Flowey had fled.

---

Shortly after time froze momentarily, Sans blinked as he soon managed to gather the courage to look back at Toriel; seemingly unaware of the brief pause in time. Feeling her soft, warm hands in his, he could feel a shade of blue rise at his Zygomatics and he closed his hands over hers in kind. He then shook his head, "No Tori, I had that made for you to keep you safe. I just didn't have enough supplies to make one for myself. I guess you could say that I would be feeling rather 'bare-bones' in knowing that I couldn't at least try to protect you from him and end up losing you."

Flowey's body continued to twitch and jerk as the remaining surges of electricity coursed through his body. Through his Determination, he soon was able to slowly regain movement; moving one root and vine at a time. After another twitch he shook his body and any soot which had settled on him from being burnt dusted off, along with a third, shriveled up petal which had fallen off of his face. His eyes continued to glow a fierce red and his thorned, twisted mouth parted as he coughed and wheezed. The flower eventually managed to crawl to the edge of the tower of bones and fell to the ground - head first given how the weight of his body was distributed- with a soft thump. Incomprehensible, garbled words were uttered quietly before he disappeared through a crack in the ground.

Some minutes passed before his voice croaked and echoed slightly throughout the chamber as he reappeared behind Sans.
"Well would you look at that, she's dead too. And it's all thanks to you Smiley Trash Bag." he wheezed in between weak, labored chuckles.
"I didn't do this. This was your doing."
Flowey rolled his eyes, "True, it was rather ingenious. No one with Determination before has achieved what I have, but that's not the point. The important thing was, what you did is now officially a variable. Which means, if I decide to do complete Resets, somewhere, sometime there's a chance that you will kill again. Maybe by accident or maybe... you will want to." he cooed dryly, "Don't you see, you're no better than me now! No longer will you have the right to hypocritically judge monsters for their actions when you're just as bad yourself! I mean, you just slaughtered two of your friends, what kind of Integrity do you even have left?!"
"I'm not a murderer."
"Oh yes you are. You've killed me plenty of times - even in front of your dumb friends! Speaking of which, why did you even bring them along? If you came alone like you always did Haruno and Undyne would still be alive.  Stupid. Stupid. Stupid!"

A bone shot through from the ground and pierced through Flowey's stem. The husk gasped in pain before his eyes grew brighter and his mouth twisted even more, "Go on. Do it again! I'm still a monster and you're still a murderer. Show me how much of a killer you are again!"

Sans went silent again as he considered his actions, hesitating. Was Flowey getting to him? The flower soon stretched his body to arc around Sans and looked at him face-to-face, "Ooooh run out of stupid jokes or quips huh? That's fine. After all, one thing I know you will always remember, no matter what timeline we're in, is that..."
He closed the petals around his face briefly before oepning them up just as suddenly. His own face was gone and was replaced with a charred, disfigured, spitting image of Haruno's.
"I-It's ok S-S-Sans!" he stuttered, mimicking her ghostly voice perfectly.

The vines Sakura had been igniting didn't do so well in the fire. A good chunk of the vines had been burnt off, but as she was burning down one section of the plants the vines and flowers that had made their way around to the other side of the chamber were still creeping towards the surface; rather feverishly actually. It was as though some of them were dying off and the remaining ones were trying to reach for the barrier above.

Soon the stone slabs displayed a scene in the other chamber; and with light pouring in through a hole in the wall things were able to be see properly on screen again showing:

Sans was frozen on the spot, suspended in the air by Undyne's grip. He was clearly struggling, sweating profusely and for once looked rather... panicked.
'If I don't move I'm a goner.'
Undyne took a deep breath and calmly walked towards him, "Alright. Sans, I'm giving you one last chance to stop acting like a psycho and tell me what's going on." she addressed firmly, left hand still balled into a fist.

It all happened so quickly.

So quickly that most may not have had time to even think of something to say. For a brief moment, there was a look of complete and utter fear. It may have only been for a short moment, but it was there. The air around them suddenly grew cold, the bones all along the walls, floor and even the ones prepping to attack the other monsters suddenly vanished. Their energy was suddenly being sucked towards the space between Sans and Undyne, an invisible orb of Sans' power swirling and spinning rapidly. The familiar, guttural screeches of a Blaster boomed even though the one could not be seen yet.
Yet.
In a blink of an eye, some monsters in the chamber have gotten a brief glimpse of a large white, demonic skull with cracks through the eye sockets appear and instantaneously blasted a blinding light at Undyne; pushing her back all the way to the back wall of the chamber. The floor beneath the path of the blaster was scorched; rocks melted down into the ground several inches. The attack didn't last long, but it did last longer than his other Blasters usually did and then suddenly it vanished along with the bright beam of light. Undyne was still standing at the other side of the room, staring wide-eyed at her, silenced with shock. Her helmet slipped off of her head and shoulders, falling and clattering onto the cold stone floor and rolled a bit before disintegrating into a pile of a mess. Undyne's armor, along with the rest of her body followed suit; disappearing into the wind, her Dust waving through the air and back into the chamber she was once fighting in. Her remains tossing and tumbling in the wind towards the genie and the many faces beneath his underbelly hungrily drank it in.

Freed from her grip Sans fell to the ground in a clatter of bones. He was gasping for air and red liquid spluttered from between his teeth and splashed across the ground in front of him. He wipe a hand over it and brought it closer for inspection. Something felt wrong.
"That's two."
"HA! AND WOULD YA LOOK AT THAT! FISH BITCH IS OUT OF HERE! WOOOOOOO!"

So once again the monsters in the room would see the effects of time being turned back, the sun rose higher into the sky and the vines... the vines wriggled and danced enthusiastically just as Flowey was starting to come back from the dead. Their growth rate doubled, racing towards the barrier until they started to grow beneath the surface of it; latching onto it with vines and roots spread out, selfishly hogging most of the sunlight for themselves. Specs and patches of sunlight shone through the gaps in between the intertwined knot of vines, leaves, thorns and golden flowers; creating a rather ugly, messy, parasitic green chandelier for the chamberThe vines seemed to pulse, acting as if it had had a heart beat drumming within. Wild laughter could just be heard echoing from the chamber next door.

Flowey didn't see Hara's attack coming, one moent he heard her scream about something dead and then the next moment her attack had hit him squarely on the face. The flower let out a horrible scream of agony as the bast of her attack tore him to shreds until he became nothing more than a pile of dust.

Just like before, it took for a few minutes for the dust to stir and the pile started glowing red with Determination. The sun rose higher - though that could only be seen in the next chamber - to indicate it was an earlier time of day. Monsters wearing the headbands were once again protected from the affects by the Reset; as indicated by the rhythmic beeping and flashing.

So once again they were faced with a familiar scene which had occurred moments before.
"Alright. Sans, I'm giving you one last chance to stop acting like a psycho and tell me what's going on." Undyne's voice echoed, her standing in the exact spot as before was almost ghostly in a surreal way; hearing her final words. The only difference about her this time was her silver headband was missing, having been utterly destroyed from the blast before the Reset. It seems, that whatever this gem cosisted of, it could not be brought back in a Reset once destroyed. A warning for other monsters to be careful about their own should not get destroyed.

Then, just as instantaneously as before, Sans summoned the super-charged blaster and with the same blinding light Undyne was murdered once again and the trail of rock beneath the Blaster's beam had melted down several inches into the ground.

Sans dropped to the ground again, red liquid spilling from between his teeth and he once again tried to conprehend what had happened to cause for this to happen to him. Not only that, the feeling of something wrong was nagging at him.

His glowing left eye shifted to Hara, just as Flowey had reappeared in the dust. The flowey coughed and wheezed for a moment before forcing out a dry chuckle, "Pheweee someone is angry! Aww I hope you weren't trying to save her. Because if you were, that's just too bad~  Boo hoo. It's a shame that I missed it, I wanted to watch again." he cackled before sneering at her; utterly relishing the look on her face. He also noticed Sans get up one more time and moved outside of Zarc's protective aura, "Am I too vicious? Oh how delicious! Let's try that one more time~"

He also noticed Sans get up one more time and moved outside of Zarc's protective aura, "Am I too vicious? Oh how delicious! Let's try that one more time~"

Sans let out a pained grunt as his glowing eye flared again, he then summoned a series of bones encircling only himself, Hara and Gaster; blocking everyone else out from the cage of bones. The wall of bones stretched from the floor and all the way up back to where the barrier and inky roof was. These bones rattled and even swayed slightly for Sans was really struggling to keep this up now. The skeleton then summoned a regular Gaster Blaster at his side and aimed it right at Hara; but this time it whined in protest as he tried to charge it.  The Sentry looked over to his Blaster with concern as the charging beam in its maw sparked erratically before fizzling out.
"Darn. Guess I'll have to do this the old fashioned way." he muttered before locking eyes with Hara, for he too still believed her to be another Flowey.

He raised a left hand out in front of him, red liquid slowly dripping from his jaw as he looked at her, "Come on Haruno and Hara. Help me free you from the husk." he called out, the struggle to form his words and the aches he felt from moving his body was becoming more and more painfully clear.

His hand balled into a fist and Hara would feel an icy-cold sensation surrounding her soul as it turned blue and she was lifted into the air. Shortly afterwards her body was aboit ready to be thrown towards the ground; but given how weak Sans was feeling now, she could probably either minimize any damage sustained or break free from his grip.

The flower raised a brow at Toriel in the darkness, looking towards the direction of her voice. The red glows of his eyes were still prominent i the darkness, casting a soft red hue over the rest of his face and petals closing his face from bring denied direct sunlight. Those whom can see very clearly in the dark may notice the flower wince slightly, possibly from pain as he shot a brief glare towards a wall to his left... directed to something occurring in the next chamber perhaps?

However he shook his head and returned his gaze upon the goat woman before him, someone he was oh so very familiar with and knew all his life. He started to chuckle maniacally, though it sounded rather eerily quiet as compared to the typical one unleashed for all to hear, "Heh. Heheh. Go through you? Oh please. You really have NO idea do you? Well that's okay. I'll be more than happy to show you just how EASY that is to do!" he spat as a couple of thorned-vines shot out at Toriel and was about to wrap them around her neck as he leaned his large, uneven face close to the former queens. Empty eyes with gleaming red lights staring right down into hers, as if savoring the anticipated moment.

But then the vines stopped short. The flower growing suddenly silent and even leaned back, for some reason he wasn't expecting to hear the sincerity and kindness in her voice when she brought up the question and suggestion. A kindness, he might have remembered from so long ago. A small amount of black sludge oozed out from a corner of Flowey's mouth and as he felt it slide down he used another vine's tip to wipe it off to look at curiously. After the moment of hesitation the former prince's halted vines then continued their path and snaked their way around Toriel's neck and tightened. He even attempted to lift her off of the ground by it, "Golly, a better path? You were always such a naive idiot. There is no going back or changing for me. Besides, this way is more FUN anyway! TOODLE-LOO! TIME TO DIE! HAHAHAHAHA!"

He shot a glare at Zarc, "Oh look, he can speak; and it's more stupid jok-" he began before falling short when he heard the way his name was pronounced. He blinked for a moment, and a little more of the black sludge started to seep from his mouth; especially when his maw pulled into a twisted, demonic grin, "OOooh, what do we have here~ Looks like Purple Anomaly has a lot more to him than it seems. What are you hiding? Come on, it's only fair to share~"

When Zarc attempted to fiddle with the settings on the headband he would find no audio option; just visual ones such as adjusting the brightness and colours for the visual warnings to suit his liking.

Then Hara's ballad of harmful music started to drum down upon the flower, causing for him to loosen his grip around Toriel's neck for a moment. His petals clamped tightly over his face, as if trying to block out damaging music. Still finding that ineffective the flower released Toriel as he sank into the ground suddenly, as his attempt to escape the music. Soon bullets of seeds shot up from in between the cracks of the stone ground, aiming to strike Toriel, Zarc, Hara and Sans; indicating that he was still around... somewhere.
