The young boss monster simply nodded and followed Roka down to the waters edge to sit down. She adjusted her dress so that she could sit without ripping it and then sniffled slightly.

"Just... I suffer from anxiety, and what with a few recent events it has been getting worse... I just had a panic attack before... since I was going to try and go to a party but I just couldn't do it..." she responded, trying to keep her composure.

Meka looked behind her to see if there was someone there that Roka had called gorgeous before turning back to the fox with an almost skeptical look on her face. Surely she wasn't meaning her, was she? There was nobody else around, but Meka didn't consider herself to be gorgeous. Nonetheless her cheeks lit up a pastel lavender colour as she blushed in response to what the fox monster had said to her.

"Rossali!Your name is very pretty! It's wonderful to meet you too" Meka replied, offering a smile before gently taking Roka's paw with one of her own.

The smile was quite quick to fade when Roka mentioned the tear stains.

"Oh, it's nothing, no need to worry... I am just not having the best of days" the goat explained, deciding not to delve into the true cause. Rossali seemed nice in her eyes, and she didn't want to trouble her with problems that were likely to be petty in the eyes of others.

"Absolutely gorgeous~"

The sound of someone speaking caught Meka's attention, and she decided that since people would be going by that now wouldn't be the time to continue feeling sorry for herself. Her breathing had calmed down anyway, so she was going to leave soon even if someone hadn't arrived. The goat monster wiped her eyes again to make sure that all of the tears were gone before heading off in the direction of Snowdin, the direction of her home and where she had heard the voice coming from.

She didn't have to venture far to see who had been exclaiming about something gorgeous. Who Meka assumed to be a young lady like herself was gazing at one of the beautiful waterfalls that were abundant around here. The glimmering of the gems reflected gorgeously on the pool of water below and their lights danced on the cascading water as it fell. This fox was here alone... maybe Meka could attempt to interact with her? After all, she could always stand to make new friends, and this may help her deal with some of her anxiety.

"It really is beautiful... isn't it?" the boss monster agreed as she walked over to where Roka was standing. A sudden sense of awkwardness flooded Meka, and she quickly did what she could to feel less awkward.
"Haha, I was a bit rude then... wasn't I? My... my name is Meka. Umm... what's your name?"

So much change was occurring within the life of Meka, some things being good while others... not so much. The party invitation she had received in the mail had initially enticed her, the idea of having some fun and meeting new people seeming like fun, but truthfully she simply didn't have the courage to go somewhere that would be a host to so many monsters. It wasn't quite 'night' yet, and initially the boss monster had started making her way toward the hall in waterfall, all dressed up in a purple satin dress as she hadn't the faintest idea as to how formal the event would be. When she had walked roughly half way there, a surge of panic flooded her system. An anxiety attack! It was clear, as she sat down on a rock that was embedded with small glowing blue gems trying to calm her breathing, that her mind would not allow her to go into such a crowded place. Her anxiety had been worsening lately, and how often it would prevent her from doing things was troublesome.

The boss monster sniffled and wiped hot tears from her eyes, being incredibly thankful that she hadn't decided to wear any makeup on this occasion. She couldn't do this... it was decided that once she started breathing normally again, she would head home.

(Sorry guys, Imma close this thread up and then start a new one. Feel free to jump to the new thread if you so desire. This one has just been lingering for a while, and I figure some story progression may be good, since some very defining events are going to happen).

Now that there were an ample amount of people, the fun began. There was a period of eating and drinking, though throughout most of it the sound socializing monsters and soft background music was heard rather than actual eating. After that party games were played, and after the games came the presents from Meka's parents. However, the most significant event of the night happened toward the end of the party.

Meka cleared her throat as to grab the attention of everyone there, before making an announcement.

"I've been thinking about this for a while now... but I think I'm going to move into Snowdin! Not in the town-town, but in the forest area!I received a building permit, so I'm going to set up there... So I can be closer to everyone!"

Well, closer to most... but further from her family....

The arrival of Linny was not only a huge surprise but also incredibly welcome to Meka. Visible excitement was evident in the body language of the goat: she wasn't even aware that this many monsters were aware of her existence. It was a very lonely life she had lead before she crossed the river and started interacting with the Snowdin residents, and now look! There were many monsters here! Well, not really.... but many to Meka.

"Linny! It sure has been a while! Aww, thank you for the birthday wishes! I can't believe the time is going so fast" she replied, a grin seemingly plastered to her muzzle. She looked with curiosity at the skeleton as she fished around in her pocket and produced this pendant. Any words that she was planning on saying disappeared as the goat monster gazed upon the beautiful pendant. It was taken delicately, and Meka was quick to slip it around her neck, the pendant part hanging gently against the top of her chest. It seemed to resonate with her soul, and the young boss monster could almost feel the love that was put into making it.
"It's beautiful, I love it! You had made this just for me? That's so sweet, thank you!" she exclaimed. Her eyes seemed to shine more than usual, and her snout twitched slightly, as if she were trying not to sniffle. Meka gave the skeleton a warm hug and then smiled some more.

Upon seeing the arrival of Sakura Meka's attention instantly was diverted from Futura to the kitsune.

"Sakura! What a pleasant surprise seeing you! Wow, there are so many people here!" she exclaimed. "You look hungry...grab yourself a plate and help yourself to some food! There's plenty to go around!" the goat continued.

Meka instantly smiled as she saw the young Dragoness approach.
"M-Marver! It's so good to see you, how are you? I'm surprised that Cobalt let you out.... didn't she ground you? Oh well, it's great to see you nonetheless!" she cried out excitedly. Meka stood up, considering offering Marver a hug but quickly lost her confidence and decided against it.

"It's alright that you haven't got anything"Meka began, waving her paws in a way that suggested that Marver shouldn't worry so much. She was about to continue when Marver started using her magic to create the tiny replicas. It was, in Meka's opinion, quite wondrous and rather beautiful to watch the formation of the glass family. The goat cupped her hands over her mouth to suppress a gasp as she realized what they had been shaped into, and her eyes seemed slightly more glossy than usual.

"Marver... it's... I.... Thank you, s-so much" she uttered, barely able to get the words out. Meka took a few deep breaths to prevent herself from crying before carefully taking the gift and running a finger over the intricate monster statues. "This... this means a lot to me" the teen continued, offering a happy smile. The gift was carefully placed down on a table next to Meka's mother and Kapral so that the older monster could keep it safe.

Hearing the sound of another monster approaching Meka turned, seeing a skeleton monster stroll on in and take a seat at the bar. When they turned their head Meka realized that she was still staring in that direction and quickly looked back to Marver. "Why am I so awkward?" she thought to herself. She had never seen this monster around before, and had most certainly never seen a monster dress the way that they did. The clothing choice was unusual and fascinating... she felt as though she may have seen something similar in a book in the Libraby once, but couldn't quite place it.

The way this monster addressed her and their body language caused a lavender glow to spread across her cheeks and she avoided eye contact."Oh, m-m-my name? My name... is Meka!" she stuttered. Nobody had ever spoken to her like this before, and she was unsure as to whether she liked it or was scared by it.

From where she sat next to their mother Kapral offered a broad smile, but then became slightly bashful. She admired Marver greatly, and they had been through a lot together, but seeing Marver seemed to make her slightly fearful though she tried not to show it. Both of the adult boss monsters seemed thoroughly impressed with the glass work of the young dragon, and Futura was extremely lucky that Meka's father was so absorbed in the glass models

Though it was usually crowded with people, today the bar was quite very empty, as were Meka's pockets, for booking such a venue for a party didn't come without its expenses. Balloons of varying shapes and colours were tied up outside the entrance to the bar, and a banner was hung above the door that said "Happy 18th Birthday". Foods of all sorts of varieties were spread out over tables to the left of the building which had been rearranged to accommodate the banquet while still allowing room in the middle of the building if people wanted to dance to the music which gently thrummed from the jukebox. Party hats, each with a piece of paper on the inside with a role written on it were on a smaller table by the door, which participants would have to take as they came in.

Besides Meka, her younger sister and both of her parents there was nobody else around. Meka's party hat seemed to slip down her head slightly at the thought, only not falling off because of her right horn was underneath it.

"Don't worry Meka, I'm sure people will come at some point... the day has only just begun! Give it some time... besides, you should be celebrating! Not only is everything as it should be in the Underground again, but you are turning 18" her father reassured softly, running a paw through his thick black mane as he thought. Her mother sat quietly at one of the tables with her younger sister, Kapral, who seemed to be chattering on excitedly about something, all the while clutching a party hat tightly in her paw. Meka walked over and sat down next to her sister, booping her nose gently and helping her put on the party hat in such a way that it would not fall off.

The lavender colour slowly faded from the goats eyes as her magical power waned. Seeing the guard-like suits and their master approaching gave her the impression that she was in trouble. She focused first on the towering dragoness herself, then to the empty suits and finally to the scroll. Her heart sank when she saw the image on it: a fairly young looking dragon. Meka let out a sad sigh and frowned.

"How... how old is she? Younger monsters... there have been many cases lately of them being kidnapped by these wolf beasts... including my younger sister". Meka explained, her own blue eyes unwilling to make contact with the luminous green eyes of the dragon. Was this small dragon hidden away somewhere, in the same place as Kapral? If so, these two could find themselves to be quite helpful to each other.

"If what I think happened really is the case... I would like to search with you. They are out there somewhere, I can sense it!" Meka exclaimed, her paws balled into tight fists of determination. She then noticed the fox "girl" approaching the two of them.

"As much help as possible would be great! We could even start a search party, potentially find out a few things, maybe even get a lead!
I mean, if you guys are willing"
she bleated, the excitement of potentially finding her sister oozing from her voice. Though she still felt tired from the lack of sleep she had been having Meka was eager to find her sister and all of the other monster children.

The bar had been becoming rather stuffy rather quickly, and even though it had been nice to meet new people Meka was still glad she decided to leave. Now she could focus on more important things. The warmer weather made the snow become water under her paws and she groaned as they became soggy. Now was not the time to be petty though: Kapral could be going through a lot worse. Plus, the new greenery was quite beautiful...

She settled for a training spot close to the beginning of waterfall and the end of Snowdin where the ground was usually dirt and stone rather than snow. The goat frowned as she noticed that waterfall seemed to now merge with Snowdin: there used to snow on the ground that defined a true border. It was odd, seeing the snowy world fade away. What would happen if the crack in the ceiling remained? It could spell disaster... But what could she do about it? She couldn't produce rock....

Training, right! Meka's paws glowed a gentle purple and she began to punch the closest tree to her repeatedly, healing it when it became too badly damaged. Though that took a while. She was magically strong but not as much physically. The teen grunted and growled as she hit the tree, though she wasn't very intimidating. Her vocalizations could be compared to soft bleating or even mewling at some times, though at others she could make decent grunts. Fatigue was taking over and she stopped for a minute, healing her splintered paws. A sparring partner would work a lot better than a tree... at least she could apply strategy then. This tree wouldn't give her the challenge she needed if she was going to toughen up for this mission. Deep down Meka wished that she had been taken instead of Kapral: at least she would be a bit more of a challenge for the Koray's. She imagined the tree in front of her as whoever had ordered her sister's kidnapping and roared a genuine roar, the purple magic at her finger tips taking the shape of claws which slashed through the wood. Whoever did this, they would get it. A new feeling filled her chest: not the usual fluttery nervous feeling, but a deep burning feeling that made her feel uncomfortable. It was almost like anger, but a whole lot stronger, like.... hatred. Yes, she hated whoever had done this, and whenever she found them she would show them the meaning of her hatred... show them the meaning of the pain she had to go through.

Granted, she had done some bad things before, but never on purpose, and the fact that someone would dare kidnap her sister for her dust sickened the goat greatly. Boss monsters were generally stronger soul-wise, and the thought that the Koray had snuck into her home just to get some powerful dust made her growl. The tree was slashed again and again, the pine groaning and covering her paws in sticky sap as it began to feel the wrath the she wished to direct to those who would dare harm Kapral. Her eyes had gained the ominous glow that her paws had as the magical power built up inside her, the blue irises turning a luminous lavender.

Having built up a large amount of fire magic and not needing to put it to use Meka had to think fast. Small amounts of magic could be easily reabsorbed but not this much. She walked over to a patch of floor that was unoccupied before breathing a jet of flames onto the sodden ground. By the time she was done that specific area of floor was dry and steam hovered in the air. "Sorry guys" she apologized with an innocent smile. Now that she knew Grillby was safe perhaps she could leave. Technically she had helped with the clean up of the floor and she hoped she wasn't needed any more: there was some serious business she had to attend to.

"I'm sorry Mr. Grillby, I wish I could help more but I really need to prepare for something. Thanks for the cookies!" she exclaimed with a wave before ducking out into the streets of... Snowdin? Though that name didn't fit anymore... there wasn't a single flake of snow in sight.

Meka yelped and jumped back as the water came in, soaking her jeans right up to the tops of her knees as the wave came in, though when it leveled out it was much lower. Upon peaking out the door she would find that Snowdin had become more of a floral town than a snowy village. Whoever had made that crack in the roof had either stuffed up majorly or done something wonderful, though Meka couldn't decide which it was.
"Guys... get a load of this" she whispered to no-one in particular. Never before had she seen such greenery: she had only ever known the oranges of Hotland, the blues of waterfall and the whites of Snowdin. Meka felt compelled to go out and investigate but her thoughts then went the same way that Sans's went. She knew, however, that if water had gotten in there it would be too late by now. He wouldn't be dead or anything, or at least she hoped not. Meka ran to the kitchen, readying a fire attack as she did so. If Grillby was at all damp she would engulf him in her green healing flames, which would, if they didn't do anything healing wise, at least reignite him. The water around Meka's feet began to churn slightly as her fear and magic energy converted into heat energy. She took a few calming breaths until the water stopped churning and then built up her internal fire so it was hotter, which only caused the water to churn again and small amounts of smoke to escape her mouth when she breathed. If Grillby needed it she would try her best to help.

When she saw that Haruno was there Meka decided that perhaps the gem woman and her small friend would be better suited for this job. Additionally Grillby shooed her out, wanting a private moment. After picking up all of the newly spilled items, courtesy of Haruno and Coquille, Meka decided that perhaps she should heed the advice of the small skeleton. The Goat left the kitchen and went out to the bar, scrawling "No more meals or drinks, bar is closed. Sorry guys :(" on a piece of paper and sticking it to the surface of the bar. She also wrote on another piece of paper "Training at Snowdin-Waterfall border. Come along if you want to test your skills". After that she grabbed her money which she had safely stored out of the way of grabby fingers and waved a farewell to everyone in the building, again booping Boomerang on the head as she went past him. There wasn't much of a reason for her to stay here, and with so many people around though she had crawled out of her shell she still didn't enjoy such large crowds.

There was far more important stuff she could be doing than sitting around in a bar: if she wanted to be strong enough to save Kapral she had to train!

When Grillby emerged from the kitchen Meka began to ask how much to charge for the chilli fries but just as quickly as he emerged the fire elemental left.
"Hold on guys, I will be back in a second " she called over her shoulder as she headed toward the kitchen. Before she had gone through the door the sound of crashing plates and yelling made her fur stand on end. Upon bursting in she would find Grillby and Sans, the latter causing some confusion. Was he not just in the bar?

Meka quickly started picking up the plate fragments, as Sans was obviously tending to Grillby. She was careful not to cut herself on the sharp edges as she picked up and discarded the broken plates.

"Are you okay Mr. Grillby? " the goat asked once the plates were disposed of and any that had not broken were placed by the sink for washing.

The arrival of the gem creatures scared Meka out of her skin, causing her to generate a fireball in her hand as her default attack. When she noticed that they were doing no harm she relaxed, breathing a sigh of relief and annoyance at the same time. Now there were more broken objects. Yay.
