Lekio was pleasantly surprised by Gust dodging his first move this time around, looks like the cheetah could at least learn from past moves. Hearing Gust also finally cave in and begin to fight back, Lekio began to seemingly get excited. Maybe after months of being hospitalised he needed something that made him feel ‘strong’ and while this was probably the worst way to achieve that, it was the way he was going to go about it.

Shark bait? Hah! That’s rich coming from the monster who’s clearly shark bait to Cherry, you’re funny! No wonder she likes- Oomph!” Lekio did attempt to dodge the punch while talking, but both talking and being injured still wasn’t going to work out well for him if he wanted to dodge someone so fast. In the back of his mind, Lekio could only imagine Cinder being angry at him over this but... “H-heh.. cheap shot.. I let you have that one” The shark-cat would stutter lightly after having almost completely fallen over from Gust’s punch. Now at least though, Gust was closer. While one hand went to feel over his odd goggles to make sure they were intact from the hit, the other aimed at Gust as he tried again, this time the bubble was different to the usual sticky one though, and Lekio didn’t exactly aim at Gust, just in his direction, shooting a couple of blue bubbles out, which popped on the ground near the boys. If Gust happened to walk on these, he’d find they would be slippery. After the blue bubbles, Lekio then shot out a green one at Gust, which looked even meaner then the sticky pink ones. “Hope you don’t value your fur that much.. cause it’s about to get fried

Lekio sneered lightly at Gust's first response. Of course he wasn't going to answer, he probably believed the cat-shark to still have the same malicious intent as he did when he first met him, and honestly, Lekio couldn't blame him. Cinder's smarts were starting to rub off on him, so there was that at least. But that didn't mean he wasn't one to still make mistakes.

"You callin me weak?" He raised his voice a little at this, clearly agitated by Gust's reasoning to not want to fight him a second time. Obviously, this wasn't a response Lekio was going to just be okay with. "Afraid to get your ass beat by a monster who's been hospitalized? Come on, wuss" Again, his maliciousness had faded in time, and was more playful sounding then anything.
"Where you have to be can wait, we won't be long, I bet I could beat you in seconds and once I have, I'll let you run on home with your tail between your legs! Haahahaha!" After laughing, he held a hand to his chest for a moment, giving a bit of a hearty cough before then looking back to Gust. "I don't get to see a lot of monsters while I'm in hospital you know. I don't get to swim in the lakes and such anymore either." The monster's eyes looked aside for a moment, genuine sadness showing as he said what he did. "Your friend took that away from me." He clenched his fists closed and bared his teeth again. "I have something I need you to tell Cherry" He declared, as he brought his hands up and as quickly as he could manage in his condition, shot out a speeding sticky bubble at Gust's legs "After we've had a rematch. One on one, just you and me Gust. Show me what you're made of"

It wouldn't be long until the cat-shark boy also noticed Gust was on the same path that he was. Lekio paused for a moment, remembering what happened the last time he ran into the cheetah. After a few moments he bared his sharp teeth at the cat after Gust had muttered something to himself, taking note of that he seemed to be carrying something, food supplies by the looks of it but Lekio didn't quite trust his eyes in full yet, considering he had to wear these dumb goggles to even see.
"What are you doing here" He'd ask, while he did sound a bit annoyed at Gust's appearance, he didn't sound as malicious as he used to at all. Folding his arms he stayed where he was, stopping his walk for now. "Where's your flame friend? Or are you alone this time?" He'd ask. Gust would be able to notice that physically, Lekio had some changes, for one thing the monster was still grey in colour after what Cole had done. Not a trace of his orange coat had returned. He also kept those weird looking goggles on and was noticeably thinner then last time, but he was walking ok at least.
"We didn't get to really fight last time you know, I want a rematch, one on one, you and me, what do you say?"

WHAT IF?! / The Woodland Walk

(Potentially canon later)

It had been well past 2 and a half months since Lekio first ran into Gust and Cole and had his fishy tail kicked and sent to Cinder's Clinic. The catshark had learnt a lot that day from Cole, but he still had a lot to learn and a lot to grow past. For most of the time he had done as he was told, because he kind of had to, but often times he was a bit of a pain to deal with and made it hard to cooperate, but it wasn't anything Cinder couldn't handle.
The majority of his time was now spent in-doors of the Clinic in Woodland, healing steadily thanks to the help of Cinder both physically and mentally from what he had experienced under Cole's fury. He had a lot more time to think now, and ever since he'd been brought away from Cinnamon's shop, he had seemed a lot more calmer in attitude and personality, he still had snarky or cheeky moments, but nothing was as spiteful as he was months prior. It had taken a while, but he eventually gained his voice back and the ability to walk, and steadily he began to talk more casually overtime with Cinder.

That being said, he still did enjoy his walks alone, and today he'd gotten one.
It was early morning and he'd finally been let out of the Clinic to stretch his still re-developing legs, he had to stay in Woodland though of course and not be out longer then what Cinder said for him to be, but it was something. He'd fix the positioning of the funny-looking goggles he had to wear to help him see for now as he stepped out of the Clinic, taking in a breath of the morning air as he began to steadily walk along the path Cinder had taken him when they first went for a walk together a while back now, thinking of all the things she had told him about Woodland and the Underground in general. She'd introduced him to a lot of interesting food too ever since he'd turned up, he was always wondering what she'd show him next but never really told her about that. Maybe he'd do that later, if she wanted to talk then, for now he simply kept to her path and took it steady as he walked through Woodland.

Lekio let out a whimper of pain when Cole stomped on his shoulder, before closing his eyes when the elemental roared. The shark would let out a pained huff as he was yanked into a standing position, his legs wobbled trying to support the rest of his body.
"N-no! You don't get it!-" He'd try to wipe some of the dust away from the corner of his mouth, it was getting everywhere and was making it hard to talk or breathe. "We need her!" Lekio would flinch when Cole leaned in close to him. "She's our only chance-"
The jabs and haze made the boy cover his eyes and face with his hands, he didn't want to be here, he wanted to go, he wanted to go, he wanted to go. But he couldn't.
When the haze finally lifted, Lekio didn't look back at Cole, he looked aside, but he knew where Cole was and that he was towering over him. Cole told him to pick a god, but he picked and Princess and a Queen instead, they where all he knew.

When Cole started to speak on Cherry's behalf, Lekio would let off a a rather pathetic gurgle of a growl. His throat was still messed up from what Cole did. "You can't do that" He said softly, still looking away.
But Cole continued.
"You can't act on her behalf" He repeated, glancing to Cole finally, but that did not stop the elemental. The shark's ears flattened as the other monster continued. Being declared, unworthy and being banished. "To where!? We're all already stuck dow-" The swipe to his face got him right where Cole wanted to, and it took seconds for Lekio to panic once he could no longer see right. "M-my.. My eyes! What have you done!?" He would almost shriek as loud as Cinnamon had at his hand.
The second blow hit his fin ears as well, and Lekio would put his hands over them. His eyes where clouded now, and he looked scared. So very scared. Two of his senses where almost fully gone, just like that. He didn't know how to live without them. But now they where simply gone, damaged beyond normal use.
Lekio couldn't properly hear the next parts. Cole had already damaged his ears. But he could feel himself being grabbed and his jaw forced open, for Cole, there would be a lot of spluttering and gagging, for Lekio, it was all rather quiet. But he felt every bit of pain it put on him. The last thing he managed to get out before Cole finished off his vocal cords was, "This isn't what she'd want you to do"
He tried to scream in pain as the small flicker was sent down his throat. It was so overbearingly painful and he couldn't do anything to stop it or soothe it.

When he was dropped, he would shudder on the ground, trying to look at it and see the details in the dirt, but he couldn't. For the first time ever. Lekio started to cry- or at least tried to, it burned his throat and eyes to and the sound he let out when doing so was odd and struggled.
The pulse ensured that the boy stay on the ground. He didn't know exactly what Cole had done, but he knew it couldn't be good. He tried to speak, to say something to Cole. But nothing really came out. So he was left to there to try and breathe right. Where could he go from here? He couldn't see, he couldn't hear, he couldn't call for help.
He knew maybe one thing he could do, but he couldnt see to get to it.
For now, he would just, feel around on the ground, trying to work out where he was and what to do from here. Cole might not of left many marks. But he had scarred the other monster for life.

Lekio gave a snarl as Cole gave him trouble, even when walking away. but he did actually run , around past the shop, out of sight. He didn't seem willing to risk getting the same fate as the tree had.

---------

Cinnamon tapped a small finger against her quivering lips as she listened to the two boys. She seemed rather unnerved at seeing Lekio at all. The talk Gust had said about the Princess part, in particular, seemed to make the unibunny even more nervous. "I don't think we've seen the last of him either. That type are pretty... Persistent."
She did smile at the talk of Gust returning though. "I for sure didn't doubt it~"
She couldn't help but to also be a bit concerned for Cole as well, fumbling her little paws together as she let him speak.
As for the species thing. "W-well, although you and I both know quite well that it doesn't mean very much at all, aside from maybe how you look, but that is not important. Cherry's species uh. Well, they've actually been missing for.. Some years now. Ever since I took in Cherry as a matter of fact so... Seeing him is. Concerning. I thought they where all still in hiding." Obviously, there was more to this story then what she had just said. Just what did she know though? "I'll explain, you two are trustworthy, but. Well that species is very. Mmm. Well there's reasons I did not go looking for them for Cherry, she was better around you and others, not people like Jes- Lekio." Her nose gave that cute little nervous rabbit twitch before both her ears shot up as a loud, and rather familiar shout sounded out from one side of Cinnamon's shop.
A shout they would all recognise to be that of Cherry's. "WH- WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE- GET OUT! GET OUT! CREEP!" Lekio hadn't left, he'd gone around part of the shop enough to not be seen and had opted for the bathroom window, it was small, sure, but enough to panic Cherry if he tried to see or get through it.
Any who knew her enough, knew she liked to keep it open to sing through during showers. She probably wouldn't be keeping it open after this.

Before either of the boys could act though, Cinnamon had gotten onto all fours and had rushed over in a very rabbit-run-like fashion, rounding the shop to help Cherry.
"Leave my daughter alone you dunderhead fribble!" She would shriek as her horn began to glow an angry pink/purple. Her magic had gotten ahold of the mostly orange shark and she attempted to try and pull him back out of the window. He somehow, had got his stupid fat head in, along with his shoulders and chest. Cinnamon didn't seemed to care if she broke half her house, she had to get him away from Cherry.
The dribble cracks in her horn now began to bubble aggressively, looking almost like her horn would break if she used it any further then what she was. But she continued. "BOYS! Go get her out! I'll deal with him, take her somewhere safe! Please!"
"Let go of me! I'm trying to help her!"

The shark would struggle, eventually, Cinnamon did get him out of the window and once she did, she threw him on the ground, knocking the wind out of him briefly, She looked back to Cole and Gust, rubbing her horn, trying to soothe the cracks, which seemed to now be leaking even more of the icing-like stuff that she had, had seeping out of the two cracks for years. But had she ever used magic much let alone in such a way in all those years? No.
When she looked back, Lekio was back up on his feet. Boy was he pretty quick...
"Back off and go back to the pond you crawled out of, she wants nothing to do with your kind" "She IS MY KIND" He growled back, approaching Cinnamon, but she didn't step back. "I said BACK OFF, she's my daughter and you'll have nothing to do with her!"
Lekio, whom seemed like he had, had enough of people getting in the way of what he wanted. "I'm tired of you people getting in the way... Wait a minute" He peered at Cinnamon. Before he seemed to then notice something. "No wonder you're keeping me from her, it's your fault she was separated from us in the first place" He spat, any morals or good in him seemed to be put aside, as he wasted no time to then- After realizing who Cinnamon was- land a hard hit to her small stomach, "Do you have any idea of the pain you put all of us through?" He continued, grabbing her by the horn with one hand and by the ears with the other and tightening his grip on both more and more.
Cinnamon would let out a pained cry, kicking her powerful feet to try and get him to loose his grip, she tried to light her horn to get him to drop her, but by then he had already gotten his next move into play.
He'd drop Cinnamon, before she hit the ground, he'd slam his tail into her back, sending her a short distance away, he watched to make sure she did not get back up. And she didn't.
"MUMMA!" Cherry was in the doorway, still soaking wet but she'd chucked her clothes on now.
Lekio smiled, finally, what he had came for.
"Princess~"

Cole's sharp backhand to the back of Lekio's head almost knocked the shark boy flat on his face, he stumbled forward instead, letting off a disgruntled noise as he tried to regain his balance at the sudden hit.
Sure enough though, the boy would turn and face Cole, keeping Gust within the side of his sight. The shark snarled at Cole, his growl growing as the elemental took hold of his wrists and gripped them tighter and tighter. Lekio did however, look just a bit frightened when Cole's face changed, when the lights grew in the spots his eyes would be and a jagged grin stretched across his face.
"... Running? When finally after years we've found the lost Princess? I don't think so.. Back off, creep, I'm trying to help her, the hell would you know about it though, both of you, you both have others of your species who you can talk to, you're both being selfish in keeping me from her, I doubt any of you have even told her about our existence!" Lekio tried to breathe in and blow bubbles at Cole to push him away, only blue ones this time rather then the pink.
"Don't you think she deserves to know that she's not alone?" If Cole still had a grip on him at this point, Lekio would yank his arms back, if Cole was still holding his wrists, naturally he'd be yanked to the shark's chest, upon which Lekio would raise is right leg, to knee him in the gut.

"You know what. Fine. I'll find another way.." He couldn't really run with Cole still on him, so, if his move before was successful, he'd take a couple steps back and away from Cole, still looking freaked out a little at how Cole's face had changed. If the two let him. He'd spit at the both of them, before storming off past the shop.
Cinnamon would rush over to Cole first, giving him a leg hug because it was all she could reach at the moment, she knew it wasn't good for Cole to get angry. That and she was greatful he and Gust where here. Speaking of Gust-- "You came back!! She's going to be so glad to see you, she's in the shower at the moment but she'll be out soon--.." She looked up at both boys and grew incredibly anxious again.
"Where did you find that catshark fellow...If you don't mind me asking"

The two where quick, by the time Gust was free and they where on their way, Lekio was in view of the shop, looking rather proud of himself as he had stopped his soapy sliding and had opted for a prideful stride instead.
Again, there was still no singing to be heard, so how could Lekio hear Cherry?? There was muffle sounds from the hut, sure, but nothing distinct, not like what Cole had heard her do a couple days ago.
Lekio had reached the door when the two got there, Cinnamon had answered it, upon just seeing Lekio, she let out a shriek of a noise but he wouldn't get to say anything to her before Gust had gotten in the way, swerving inbetween the two and uppercutting the shark- "Ttssk! I thought I told you to stay still!" He spat, Gust's moves where successful and Lekio ended up right in front of Cole, bumping into him even "Who the h- Oh pussy cat, you're that pathetic you had to go cry for help to your little friends, did you?" He scoffed, "NONE of you will stop me, so get out of the way" He'd spit, attempting to turn and shove Cole away from him, "Sorry pal, he shouldn't of gotten you involved"

The moment one of the bubble hit Gust, Lekio straightened up and grinned, feeling as though he had already won this fight. The bubbles would swell up more, stopping only when they where about the size of a basketball. Lekio put his hands on his waist as he watched Gust struggle to get the things off.
"I said-" He walked over to Gust, and would poke one of the bubbles that had latched itself to his legs, when he did, the bubble would pop and an extra sticky gum-like substance would attempt to stick Gust down further. "Stay still~" He laughed mockingly as he stood in front of Gust.
"Well that was easy, if winning her over is as easy as beating you is, I'll have won in no time!" He'd collect himself, dusting himself off before listening again and then facing in the dreaded direction of Cinnamon's shop. "I'll tell her you said Hi! And that you won't be coming back, you'll have no reason to when I'm done with her" The cat shark let off a mocking half-chuckle-half... Cackle? Before he'd begin to blow more bubbles to make himself a slippery, sliding path to speed up his process in making it to Cinnamon's shop.
"Later, Loser!"

Gust's response made Lekio laugh, "Two things you have neither of!" His laugh kinda meant that Gust caught him off Guard though, and the cloud would blind his eyes, making Lekio bring his hands up to try and make it go away, "Ach!" And Gust's push would successful as well, Lekio's ego blinding him more then the clouds. He'd be sent soaring off of Gust and would hit into one of the nearby tree's. When he got up after falling down from this. A liquid dust leaked from some area's on his back. But it also seemed to bubble like soap.
"You little RAT!" Lekio took in some air before blowing more bubbles at Gust, this time they where all pink.
"I'm going to win her over, Gust and I'm going to let you have a front row seat at watching!"

When Gust's punch met Lekio's it would let off a ripple like effect, giving them both a sort of push back, which Lekio was quick to recover from. When he did, he gave a snarl, annoyed that Gust managed to dodge the pink bubble. "Stay still would you? So I can end this and help a lady in need, unlike you I actually care about her~" Gust's roundhouse kick would be grabbed by the shark, and he'd give a rather rough push to try and flip Gust onto his back. Seems he might've been quicker to act then Gust may have thought. "Are you the fastest of your species~? I know I am, sorry tiger, but you aren't going to stop me from getting what I deserve" He spat, and if he was successful in flipping Gust onto his back, he would attempt to jump on top of the cheetah and launch a hit to his face, "What could she possibly see in you anyway? Saying she's taken by you is a real laugh kitten"

Gust landed his hit just fine, catching the monster off guard actually, as he hadn't really expected Gust to retailiate, let alone full on hit him.
Lekio stumbled a little after the punch, putting a hand to his cheek that Gust had hit, his surprise only lasted seconds though, before he laughed again, "Big mistake kitten" He spat, a snarl crawling across his muzzle as he collected himself from the hit and prepared to hit back. "Garbage dump? I want to go to where she lives, not where you live"
The shark/cat  took in a breath and then blew, rather then air coming out though.. Bubbles did?
Odd, slightly glowing bubbles at that, that where fair in size, Lekio would kick one straight at Gust, one that glowed a pink, rather then blue like the other ones did. After kicking the pink one, he would punch his hands into two of the blue ones, causing them to 'explode' sending a slippery, soapy liquid around about the boys.
"Let's see how you fast you are now hairball" He spat, before he'd use the slippery liquid that now coated the ground from the bubbles to slide himself at Gust, aiming to throw a punch back, it certainly helped him to go a lot faster, but not Gust's level of speed. Was the cheetah quick enough to avoid the sticky situation that awaited from the pink bubble though?

A chuckle rumbled at the back of the semi-aquatic monster's throat, he seemed impressed slightly though at Gust not backing down. "Say- Gust was it?" He began to circle around the cheetah slyly, his eyelids drooping down to about halfway and a mocking grin filled his face as he looked off towards where he had pointed the song was coming from.
"If that's true, why aren't you with her?"
He glanced back to Gust with the eye that wore a scar over it, his grin growing wider, "Going back to her huh? Oh don't tell me you--" He circled more, similar to a circling shark in water, or how a wolf would. "Left her, all alone" He put on a fake pouty face, slinging an arm around Gust's shoulders and pulling him in closer, pointing a finger into the fur on Gust's chest with his other hand.
"You may have spoken to her before I, but I for one won't leave her as you have seemed to, who do you really think she'll choose if it came down to it, Spots?" He scoffed, "You? A monster of different species? A monster who she no doubly trusted- only for you to leave her-- Ouch, Buddy" He chuckled again, but it grew up into a laugh, "Big sting in our species, just a heads up~" He let Gust go, cracking his knuckles as he turned his back to the cheetah.
"I think it's pretty clear she'd choose me over some monster like you, so do her a favour, and lead me to her Hmm? Maybe then she'll actually want to see you"

The grin on the shark boy seemed to drop when Gust's tone did, he looked at the cheetah, cocking his head slightly as he took a step closer to the other monster, sizing him up to be intimidating, "Oh huh? Is that so?" His smile slowly grew back, "So you do know who I'm talking about then, Mmm? " He gave a scoff of a laugh before shaking his head, "And whom might I ask, is she taken by? Cause I assure you, I'm much better then any guy she's ever seen" The fin ears that the other boy monster had seemed to flare out aggressively at Gust, somewhat similar to a frill necked lizard would do.
"Don't tell me a scrawny little liar like you has fallen for her~ Oh please"

The shark boy flexed an arm, giving Gust a wink, "First off, help her, she probably hasn't seen anyone her species in years, second of all-- Woo her, there's no way she wont be able to resist-" He made a gesture with his hands to suggest himself, "All-a this~ Plus, it gives me a title I'm worthy of, Prince, and soon-to-be King " He seemed to really like the sound of that

"I bet she's not even seen a male of her species, poor girl, right? She could really use the help, she must hardly even know who she really is--" He seemed to pause for a moment, as if something else had caught his attention, whatever it was made him smile. "Think you can give me a lift spot chops? I can hear her song once more! It's that way!" He pointed, much to Gust's displeasure, riiiight towards the direction of Cherry and Cinnamon's shop.

If Gust chose to listen, he wouldn't hear much of anything at all, maybe a sound on the wind, but certainly no singing.
