Muffet listened to every detail of the story both the large bull and June herself explained. Her rather harsh glare slowly turned into an expression of pity. She had so many thoughts of wanting to pull apart that bull limb from limb at first for ruining her sale, but now? She just felt like helping this poor soul. "Oh my, dearie....you poor soul!" She said, an actual tear falling down her face from hearing the tale she gave. She wanted to go up and help her, yet alas; she knew it was too dangerous to approach a human with a gun in their hand. She didn't want to cause any more humans suffering. Upon hearing that Undyne and Asgore were responsible for this, she shot those two monsters in particular a rather vicious glare, a glare that could easily send chills and shivers up anyone's spine. She didn't lash at them, but she no longer felt the respect that she once had in those two after they harmed such an innocent soul.

She started to wonder what the other souls have been through....what families they have lost....and what caused them to fall down here as well....

Like many of the other monsters here, Muffet hasn't really visited this close to the core. While she wasn't as prone to the extreme heat as some of the other monsters, it didn't mean that it didn't affect her too. She was usually used to hotland's heat, but hasn't ever felt anything like this from Hotland before. She felt unpleasant amounts of sweat dripping off her back, staining her clothes a bit, which was upsetting to the spider to say the very least. Upon seeing the soul, her eyes perked up with intrigue.

Her eyes also noticed the large mechanical bull. She assumed that must have been what was causing the earthquakes, making her narrow her eyes at the machine rather eerily for a few moments. It wasn't something her spiders could fight on her own, as it seemed too bulky. Honestly, the idea of a tea party did make her smile a bit, she did enjoy having a bit of tea, albeit others never seem quite as keen on the idea of entering her parlor, as they always tend to excuse themselves. She was rather surprised to have been warped, and even more so to see Haruno being hit with the railgun. And after that, she witnessed Toriel starting to give Asgore quite a strong amount of scolding. Honestly, she never has seen anyone be so bold as to talk like that to the king. Well, then again, Toriel was the queen.

She felt a feeling of relief when she felt Papyrus set up a fire resistance spell, making her feel quite a bit less stoked. When she heard Undyne's command, she wasted no time when it came to backing up to the end of the group, ready to act as a strong backup in case things went wrong.

Muffet visibly winced upon hearing the alerted E.D. units' wailing alarms. Of course, she could sympathize about their alerted panic; as her spiders would act in the same way to be fair. However, it did provoke her to give a cold and steely glare towards Haruno. It honestly made her wonder how tasty that a gem beast could be in one of her recipes. However, her train of thought was interrupted as the earth started violently shaking. She quickly came to Zydras's side in everyone's escape from the tunnel. As she felt yet another pulse, she began to feel worried for her pet back home, as she worried how he was holding up right now.

Muffet rose an eyebrow when she the metallic bird come forth. She wasn't sure how to perceive the little robot. Albeit, she had an uneasy feeling as she saw more of them flock towards the group; and was unsure whether or not she should be concerned about these little fellows or not. In the back of her head; she wondered if she could get Alphys to reprogram them to act as little worker robots. The idea of how she could use these cute little birds went through her mind, yet she couldn't come up with any realistic solutions, as she already had plenty of spider workers. Perhaps they'd make nice toys for her pet? Well, maybe....

Her train of thought was disturbed when she heard Haruno destroy one of the little birds. It wasn't really an ideal solution in her book, in fact, hurting the small birds seemed to be extremely counterproductive in her opinion.

When Muffet saw the fight break down, she let one of her hands go to her mouth, a bit in shock to see them suddenly break into combat like this. Although it did make her think for a few moments. "....I believe that Cobalt may be onto something, dear." She said. She had a feeling that she would regret that later. She knew she would. But in all honesty, she had a feeling at this point that there would never be a seventh soul to fall down. Even if the surface was available to her, she'd still need to stay down here to help the spiders down here. Besides, she still wanted to give the person behind all of this a piece of her mind.

Muffet looked at a few at her spider workers, a few of them whispering to her about why she'd help Undyne and the others. "Well...simply put; if something's out there endangering the underground; then it's endangering the rest of us spiders too. And I refuse to let anything harm any of our kind and get away with it~" she whispered to her fellow spider quietly. It was true that she didn't really get into these situations usually, but she could make a small exception for just this once.

As she heard undyne make her continued speech, she knew that this was a rather easy thing for her to answer. "Ahuhuhuhuhu...Oh dearie,
I have plenty of combat experience~"
she said with a small giggle. She has had to fight off pickpockets and thieves in the past. Not to mention she used several combat skills to get certain.....ingredients.....

She had to admit, this would be much easier if she brought her pet with her, but she doubted that she'd be able to run home and fetch him. But she was sure he would be fine, he was strong enough to protect himself.

At first, the party was going smoothly...business, one the other hand, wasn't going so well. A light sigh had escaped her lips, even with the much more reasonable prices; people didn't seem to really give much care to spiders. However, she couldn't give up yet. The night was still early, after all. Or so she thought. The earthquake was extremely terrifying to all of her spiders, Muffet stumbled off of her feet from the shaking as the spiders came to her in fear. Everything happened too fast for her to react to, before she knew it; the earthquake had stopped.

She frowned, it was a good thing to see that there appeared to be no casualties, even her own spiders seemed to be okay. The food she brought, on the other hand, was all smashed from a large stalagmite. She frowned as she saw this, and a couple of her spiders even cried a bit. The food she prepared was a week's worth of salary.

As soon as everyone was lead outside, she heard about Undyne needing a few helping hands. "Why dearie, it would be my pleasure to help you..." She said with a kind smile, yet her smile turned much darker as she then added,"After all...if this earthquake was someone's fault; I'd LOVE to deal with them personally.....Ahuhuhuhuhuhuhu~"

Another day in Hotlands. Muffet has been busy most of the day, yet despite all of that, business has been rather slow today. She sighed as she looked at the time, knowing that it would be time to close up shop for the day. As she closed up shop, she saw one of her spiders approach her, holding an envelope in hand. Curiously rising a brow, she accepted the letter, "Hm? What do we have here.....?" After she analyzed the letter carefully, her eyes widened with delight. "I suppose we could go and have a bit of fun....Ahuhuhuhuhuhuhu~" Even though she stated that she knew that this would be for 'fun', she secretly suspected that this would be a brilliant business opportunity.

-----------

Muffet arrived at the party; coming in with hundreds of other spiders. Albeit it was nearly impossible to tell; each one of her spiders were suitable well dressed. Many of them were carrying different foods and drinks, such as spider donuts, spider cider, even spider steak and spider ribs. Despite how well dressed all of the spiders were, none of them could compare to their gloriously elegant queen. Muffet was wearing a large gothic-styled dress, along with having her hair in a much newer hairstyle than usual. She even had a veil made of beautiful spiderwebs on her dress as well.

Each of the meals seemed to have a bit of a price to them. Granted, they weren't as expensive as usual, thankfully. Still, while she did want to enjoy herself at this party, she'd also want this to be productive nonetheless. "Sorry I'm a bit late, dearies~"
